    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to find the trends in the use of building design visualization or visualization technology. The world of architecture is experiencing significant developments, especially in the context of visual presentations. Digital technology is constantly being updated, touching the technical realm of the visualization, which previously done with sketching, modelling, and rendering techniques. This research used literature review from related research and interviews with students majoring in Architecture. The results of this study are the trends in the use of special architectural software among students majoring in Architecture engineering.     Abstract

    Hospitals in Indonesia have a very important role in maintaining public health. Good in service and management of the hospital is the key to maintaining and building public trust. In this case, the directors have a very important role to oversee every activity in the hospital. The directors who have guidelines in the form of a dictionary of hospital performance indicators. This research aims to build a quality control system for a hospital in Indonesia. The controlling system is built using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. This system is expected to be able to help directors in the calculation of hospital quality. Then be used as a reference to provide the evaluation to each section in the hospital. The result of this study is a model of Hospital Quality Control System. This system is able to facilitate the directors to control each part of the hospital, as well as facilitate the head of the department in filling data into the system so that the evaluation and decisions given can be optimal. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The main purpose of this research is to design and create solar system learning media for elementary school children. This tool will provide visualization related to the solar system so that with this tool the child is expected to be interested in learning. The method used in this study is an experimental method. All DC motors, servo motors, and supporting electronic modules in the system will be controlled using the Raspberry Pi. This Raspberry has supported the process of converting text into sound where this process will be used for the explanation of each planet and the process of feature phenomena that occur in the solar system. The results of this study are learning media for the solar system. All of this is expected to provide knowledge related to planets and phenomena that occur in the solar system and can be applied in elementary schools. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to study the benefits of using activation codes for digital products in marketing. In this study, we used a descriptive method. An activation code is a code that can protect a product from unauthorized users so that digital products can only be used by users who have permission to use the product. The results of this research are in the form of the development of the use of strategies to protect digital product licenses by using an activation code. This code can only be obtained from certain parties who are from existing products, therefore, those who do not have the power to a product cannot provide access to products that do not belong to them. From the results, we can conclude that digital products, which are owned by the brand can only be used by the activation code given by the brand after the user requests permission from the brand either by buying or asking for permission. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The purpose of planning a city is to harmonize public and individual interests. The city planned to properly allocate land effectively and efficiently. Urban planning is the art of predicting change, drawing on the strengths of physical, social, economic, and political aspects in determining a particular sector or location. In other words, the purpose of urban planning is to increase the harmony and comfort of the physical environment or to fulfil the satisfaction and happiness of its inhabitants. Based on the results of the discussion, that changes that occurred in the city of Cimahi before and after regional autonomy can be seen from the Regional Regulation (Perda) No. 4 of 2012 concerning Spatial Planning for the City of Cimahi. That is because there is a lot of physical development (infrastructure) in the city of Cimahi, such as the Retail Business District, department stores, smartshops, office buildings, clubs, hotels, economic, civil, political headquarters, and traditional markets that are connected with modern and other existing modern infrastructure in Cimahi. The implementated of regional regulations can provide a definite step for the municipal government of Cimahi in carrying out the performance of its government. Selling goods requires a new method for analyzing data in sales and data mining is one way to analyze sales data created in an increasingly advanced business world. This study used a qualitative method and data collection techniques using literature reviews and observations with secondary data types. The results of this study are when processing data, there are many ways in data processing both in terms of data and in terms of processing.     Abstract

    In this paper, the system is made to be able to recognize hand patterns to be able to control electronic devices, as a substitute for the conventional remote. This system consists of a computer containing a program with a trained Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model and an MCU node containing a remote infrared signal database whose function we want to replace. The camera functions as a reader of hand patterns which will be classified using trained CNN models. Each hand gesture represents the infrared pulse in the database program n Node MCU. There are 4 hand patterns that represent commands in this proposed system. To be able to handle much more commands, this proposed system is designed to change mode according to the combination of hand patterns detected by the system algorithm. The changing of mode results in the changing of the infrared pulse which is represented by each hand pattern in the database. Node MCU will transmit infrared pulse corresponds to hand gesture from CNN classification after receiving a command from the computer through TCP/IP communication. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The main problem in this research is the innovation of the development of web-based dormitory management information system at SMA Terpadu Krida Nusantara. Current conditions, the boarding management system at the school is still manual and raises many problems, such as system for monitoring and reporting student data recap, resulting in the accumulation of documents in the room, and the difficulty of searching student data, as well as reporting complicated and untidy data. With the web-based dormitory management information system, it is expected to be able to simplify the process of student data recapitulation, the process of finding data, the process of documenting data, and the reporting process. The design of this study was in the form of designing and manufacturing dormitory management information systems, and the methodology used in this study was RUP (Rational Unified Process). There are four stages in the use of the RUP methodology, namely the stages of inception, elaboration, construction, and transition.     Abstract

    The research objective is to identify land-use change and suitability analysis of spatial use with land use policies and planning of the built-up area. The research location is in Tanjungpandan coastal area. Tanjungpandan is the capital of the Belitung Regency, which is the center of the economy of the region. The research method used was the overlay technique to determine changes in land use in coastal areas in 2010 and 2019. We conducted direct observation and interviews to analyze existing spatial use with spatial planning and policy. We found that the built-up areas had increased by 171 hectares. About 75% or 128 hectares of the built-up area was in Desa Air Saga. The suitability level of spatial use as built-up areas in the Tanjungpandan coastal area was relatively suitable with the spatial plan. There is only one village, namely Desa Tanjung Pendam that its spatial use exceeded its plan. There is compliance with spatial use in Tanjungpandan coastal area. This finding can be used as a recommendation to local governments to manage built-up coastal areas. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

  • Estimation of the Air Pollution in Eco-Tourism During Covid-19 Pandemic

    Abstract

    The development of tourism sector in West Java in recent years has experienced a significant development, both in the eco-tourism and artificial tourism sector. In the middle of this COVID-19 pandemic, trend to visit eco-tourism has been increasing since artificial tourism in urban areas are being closed by the government. This is to prevent the vulnerability of West Java for the spreading of COVID-19, especially in tourism area. Therefore, this research was conducted to estimate the air pollution in tourism area during the pandemic of COVID-19. Further objective of this research may suggest recommendation for eco-tourism management to maintain the air quality. We conduct case study in Wana Wisata Kampoeng Ciherang, West Java, by monitoring air quality in two different times. A critical look at tourism, air quality, and COVID-19 research and literature was also conducted to achieve the research objectives. This study discusses about air quality in tourism sector during COVID-19. Based on this research, the results show that COVID-19 helps the improvement of air quality in the tourism sector, especially eco-tourism. This study concludes that the air quality result at the first is better than the last time. Moreover, eco-tourism management needs to pay attention to the time operational and make a regulation for the number of visitor. © 2020 Taylor’s University. All rights reserved.
