    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to help the Department of Transportation in supplying emission testing tool which achievable and can used by citizens which mean as portable emission testing tools. This research using experimental method by measuring carbon monoxide (Co), hydrogen (Hc), and nitrogen oxide (Nox) using sensor which connected to smartphone. The result of the research is prototype vehicle emission testing tools L3 category or motorcycle category. The problem is the expensive price to get the vehicle emission testing tools. Then, comparison between emission testing tools with vehicle no comparable each other. There for, it necessary to develop alternative emission testing tools. This prototype vehicle emission testing tools using approach same parameter with existing testing tools. This tool is expected to assist the public in testing the emissions of private vehicles, before being tested by Department of Transportation. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The purpose of this study was to implement telecontrol of solar home system. Implementation of Internet of Things in this research is used to support the design of monitoring system to control electric power load generated by solar panel. The design of the system begins with a field comparative study and then simulated before it is manufactured and tested system parameters that include current, power and duration of time when the device connected power load control via internet network. The technique used is to collaborate the value of current and voltage measured by the current and voltage sensors as the value of power used. The results show that during the charging of energy within 10 hours obtained average power of 1.35 Watt when the maximum power is measured at 5.2 Watts. The moment of discharging takes place the battery’s reserve energy is capable of switching on 4 lamp loads over a period of 30 Minutes with current and average power consumption of 1.16 A and 14.35 Watt respectively when the process of sending data from the microcontroller to web server done within ± 7.9 seconds. Therefore, the system designed to work well and is able to provide convenience for users in controlling and controlling the use of power in real-time at a very long distance. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The purpose of this study was to design the Portable LED Lamp to overcome the problem of the need for power sources and lighting for outdoor activities such as camping, mountain climbing or long trips. The equipment is made up of solar cells that charge the charger through a charge controller to turn on the LED light or recharge the phone battery. The method used in this research is float charging by using the main components of LM7805 voltage regulator. The charger battery used is Li-Ion (Lithium-Ion) which is cheaper, easy to maintain and does not contain harmful substances so it is quite safe when compared to Ni-Cd (Nicke-Cadmium) and Ni-MH (Nickel-Metal Hydride). The advantages of this made system is the lithium battery can be recharged its electric charge by using solar cell power source and PLN power grid. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Risk Analysis of Dutch Healthcare Company Information System

    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to assure the performance and quality of healthcare information system security from the Dutch Company, which is located in Rotterdam, Netherland. The research applies COBIT 5 to audit the existing information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO 27001 and NEN 7510-2 2017 toolkit to audit the information system security for healthcare-specific issue. The audit is applied in order to identify any risk that might come during the ISMS implementation. On the other hand the result will be used as an improvement for the successor version of ISMS which compatible with the ISO 27001 and NEN 7510-2. The research was composed by applying qualitative method that consists of observation of the activity of the company and reviews the existing ISMS-related documents. As a result of this audit, the company ISMS has an achievement from NEN 7510-2:2017 audit result that has a score for 92.86 % on security management section. For the COBIT 5 result, the audit yield a result that consist of two “Established Process” level on APO13 and MEA02 and “Predictable Process” level on DSS 05. The result indicates a good result and encourages the company to improve their ISMS for next period. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The main objective of this research is to design a cargo vehicle monitoring system. The method used to limit the path is geofencing. The web application will limit the path to be traversed, so the warning alarm on the server will light up when the vehicle exits the specified paths. The advantage of this design is that the required power is taken from the battery, so there is no need to take power from the car battery. The battery will be charged by using a solar cell. On the hardware side, Arduino UNO is used as the main processor. Arduino will receive data from the GPS module then sent it to the server via the GSM GPRS module. On the software side, the data that has been received will be saved to the database, parsed, compared to the specified line limit and will be displayed on the web application. The results of this study are a model tool for monitoring cargo vehicles with the limitation of lanes and renewable resources. With this model, it is expected that it can help the entrepreneurs of goods delivery services to monitor their vehicle. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The method used in this study is a descriptive method, namely by presenting a complete picture of the situation associated with seeing the developments that have been applied. The result of this study is to find out the extent of developments in the clean energy and renewable energy sectors, as well as the importance of the environment and natural balance in aspects.     Abstract

    Nowadays, electricity has become a priority in daily life and can even be considered as a primary human need. On the other hand, the excessive use of electricity or energy and the increase in population is one of the factors that can increase energy requirements. In Indonesia, the use of electricity comes from very limited natural resources. Therefore, energy savings should be implemented, either by using as necessary or even making an update that can sustain existing electrical energy. Apart from saving energy, it would be better to create new energy with minimal effort. Like producing energy from daily human activities, one of it is walking. The result is the creation of Kinetic Paving material technology that when people step on it will produce electricity. The benefits of this technology can create electricity that can be used for the environment of this kinetic paving. As for lighting in paving as lighting art or as a source of energy for surrounding buildings. Kinetic Paving is applied in pedestrian traffic spaces. This energy is expected to help the community and the surrounding environment. This is an update that should have been implemented.     Abstract

    The process of converting analog files into digital files in the archiving process is a routine activity that needs to have appropriate procedures and is accompanied by a study of the profits and risks that accompany the process. The method of the research to solve this problem was by risk management approach refer to ISO/TR 18128 about risk assessment of recording data and ISO 22301 about Business Continuity Management (BCM). Through risk management, risk analysis review is conducted which determines the risk identification, risk assessment, risk evaluation, and strategies to enhance the ability to handle the digitization process. In other hands, business continuity management provides the potential benefit from the digitization process and guarantee of maintaining a reliable system. The companies to be observed are University, Government, and Financial Company (FC). The discussions are about the risk treatment with the strategy to reduce it and the comparison of maturity BCM from every companies.     Abstract

    Information system security is now very important to prevent from an attack. Besides that, low level security can harm the productivity of an organization. The purpose of this research is to ascertain and know the level of information system security in XYZ Company, because it has never conducted an audit information system security. In this research, it used the COBIT 5 framework to audit information security management system in a company based on the ISO 27001 standard. This audit was conducted to identify information system security that was not good. In addition to improving the information security management system that will be adjusted to the ISO 27001 standard. This research was composed by applying a qualitative methodology, observation of the activity in the company and reviews related information security management system literature document existing. For the auditing using COBIT 5 framework, audit focuses on four kinds process that consists of APO12, DSS05, MEA02 dan EDM03. The audit COBIT 5 two results in consisting of “Managed Process”Level on APO12, MEA02 and EDM03 and “Performed Process”level on DSS05.     Abstract

    The research objective is to compare the seeding of forest plants using manual methods with the Internet of things-based seeding. The research method used a prototyping model. In this research, the application of the Internet of Things is supported by solar panels that are used as alternatives energy if at some time conventional energy has decreased power or disconnected. Thus, the use of tools connected to each other can continue to run without worrying about losing power. Some of the parameters measured in this seeding include room temperature, soil pH, and soil humidity. Sensor equipment used includes temperature sensors, Soil Moisture Sensor, and soil pH sensors. The temperature sensor is used as a trigger to turn on the blower that serves to remove heat from the room. Besides, the moisture sensor is used as a trigger to turn on the water pump used as an automatic sprinkler of crop seeds. Then, soil pH sensors are used to measure soil acidity levels that affect the growth of forest plant seeds. As for the seeding process is done using Mangium type plant seed or in Latin “Acacia Mangium”by using 400 seed samples. The results of this study showed that there was an increase in seed growing during seeding supported by the Internet of Things method of 24% compared to manual methods. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
