    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to determine a proposed taxonomy that classified information systems theory concerning how four main objectives are handled namely analysis, explanation, prediction, and prescription. This research used a descriptive qualitative and experimental research methods. This information technology system design stage is the stage after the analysis of the information technology system development cycle. The results show the definition of system requirements for information technology, preparation for design, or implementation describes how an information technology system can be formed. It can be seen in the form of planning, drawing, making a sketch, or arrangement of several separate elements into a unified whole and functioning. In conclusion, the most important thing in the development of information systems is the user and the system should be integrated. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    Schoemaker is the first Professor of Architecture in Indonesia. His works are the basis of modern architectural design in Indonesia. The the aim of this work is to find out Schoemaker’s concepts through scruntinizing the facades of his work. An architectural survey method is used in collecting the architectural data among several Schoemaker’s buildings in Bandung. Artifact measuring is conducted to build the 3D models of each of his building works, to analyze the architectural thinking of his. The result is showing that Schoemaker is using many concepts of early Dutch Architects used, including the Indo-European Architecture, the Art Deco and in time, combining it with the ornaments, materials, and patterns of local tradition. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to develop a prototype of a web-based application that can be used to provide digital signatures on files or digital documents. This prototype uses a digital signature mechanism issued by the Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia (KOMINFO). The results of the research conducted by using the alpha test showed that all functionalities in the application have been able to run well. While the authentication test shows that any changes made to a document that has a digital signature will invalidate the digital signature, which means that there are attempts to falsify documents and their authenticity can be identified. This is because in documents that have the digital signature will have a certain hash value which if the document is changed or modified, then the hash value will change. This is what determines whether a document is still original or has been modified its contents, namely by comparing the hash value contained in the document. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    This research aims to find out the role of E-Wallet as a payment instrument in the millennial era. This research used a descriptive qualitative method to describe the role of E-Wallets as an instrument of payment in the millennial era. Digital payments or commonly referred to as mobile payments is an innovation of technological evolution, especially in the financial sector. The results of these technological innovations, one of which were an electronic wallet or commonly abbreviated as the E-Wallet. Currently, E-Wallet is commonly used by those who are in their productive age. High usability is one of the back screens that makes E-Wallet increasingly in demand by many people.     Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to design a relay streaming model that can be streamed to several social media that provide live streaming services. The research method includes the analysis process which is divided into 4 stages. The first stage is an analysis of live streaming services on a social media. The second step is analysing the need for the server to be able to relay streams. The third stage is an analysis of the integration of the relay server system with live streaming social media services. The last stage is to design a system model based on previous analysis and determine the software requirements specification. The final result of this research is a relay streaming model with a server using Rasberry Pi which is integrated into Facebook and YouTube social media live streaming services. The development of this model is expected to solve the problem of limited indoor wireless networks and video input sources from various recording devices in relay streaming to several live streaming social media services simultaneously © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    This paper intends to discover how the synomorph of behaviour setting in architecture could enhance the green design, with respect to space usage satisfaction and idleness of space. This research carried out through desk study and descriptive methods, as continuation of author earlier researches. Behaviour setting of a space exists as soon as a synomorph (same in structure and shape) between standing pattern of behaviour of user and physical milieu of space meet in circumjacent, a kind of fittingness. Barker developed behaviour-setting theory to explain small – scale social system, as well as the study of behaviour in its natural environment. Barker defines behaviour setting as independent units of space, with temporal and spatial boundaries, that have great coercive power over the behaviour that occur within them. The synomorph occurs in a behaviour setting offering fittingness between behaviour and the setting that could enhance the setting. The aim of this study encourages the architects to always consider to achieve synomorph in their space designs; the synomorph besides could increase space user’s satisfaction as well the value of spaces so that architects could avoid the idle space as one of codes in the green design. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    This study aims to identify waste, calculate the value of waste that occurs and provide suggestions for improvement to reduce waste. VSM describes the production flow and waste information that occurs, while WAM is the method used to calculate the waste assessment. Proposed improvements to reduce waste that has occurred using the Kipling Method. There are 6 types of waste that occurs. Waste assessment results that have been sorted in the production process are defect, motion, overproduction, transportation, waiting and process. This sequence is based on the largest weight to the smallest weight. For improvement proposals are prioritized for the type of waste with the highest rating weighting, namely defects. This shows that the defect is the type of waste that most influences the production process, making it easier to explore the cause of the problem and the advice that will be given to reduce the defects that occur. The company should make a visual form of the defect category so that the implementation of the recommendations for improvement can be applied and the operator can find out the true form of disability. It is expected that the proposed improvements can reduce the number of defects and meet the production targets achieved. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    Autonomous vehicle is a vehicle that can automatically navigate both long-range and short-range navigation. In this paper, we designed a motion and navigation control system of an autonomous vehicle that is implemented on a mobile robot. The remote navigation process involves using the global positioning system (GPS) sensor as a reference to navigate, and for short-range navigation using the proximity and force sensor. The robot task is to reach several coordinate points that are determined and marked with a traffic-cone at each point. In the control of short-range navigation, the robot uses five ultrasonic and three switch sensors to read the environment as input to the description of the distance between the robot and the object. The micro-controller then compares it to the robot’s safe distance instructions in navigating with surrounding objects. GPS sensor is used to provide remote navigation path information. To compensate for the accuracy of the wide GPS sensor readings, several waypoints are designed to guide the robot to the specified traffic-cone. From the implementation, the robot movement can go along the navigation area and can avoid short-range objects in the robot trajectory and get to the traffic-cone point with the percentage of success reaching the final destination above 86% both in sunny and cloudy weather. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
