    UNIKOM Holds 2025 Outstanding Student Selection At University Level

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – The spirit of achievement once again resonated throughout the University of Computer Science Indonesia (UNIKOM) during the 2025 University-Level Outstanding Student Selection (Pilmapres) event, which was held on Friday, March 21, 2025. This solemn and meaningful event involved five competent judges from various fields of study, namely Prof. Dr. Hj. Umi Narimawati, Dra., SE., M.Si., Prof. Dr. Hj. Aelina Surya, Dra., Prof. Dr. Lia Warlina, ST., MT., Andrias Darmayadi, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D., and Dr. Retno Purwani Sari, SS., M.Hum.  

    The participants of the University Level Pilmapres were the best students from various faculties at UNIKOM, who have undergone a series of selections at their respective faculties. The winners at the university level will go on to represent UNIKOM at the LLDIKTI Region IV level. The assessment process was carried out in three different rooms. Room L.030 was used to assess Outstanding Achievements (CU) by Prof. Dr. Hj. Umi Narimawati, Dra., SE., M.Si., Prof. Dr. Hj. Aelina Surya, Dra., and Andrias Darmayadi, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D. Room L.021 was used to assess Creative Idea Papers (GK) by Prof. Dr. Lia Warlina, ST. MT. Meanwhile, Room L.018 was used for interviews and English-language video assessments by Dr. Retno Purwani Sari, SS., M.Hum.  

    UNIKOM Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Dr. Hj. Umi Narimawati, Dra., S.E., M.Si, in her speech, said, ” I would like to thank the Directorate of Student Affairs for organizing this event. I hope that whoever wins at the university level will be able to bring UNIKOM’s name to prominence at the LLDIKTI 4 and national levels. After being selected, the students who will represent UNIKOM will continue to be guided so that they can perfect their preparations,” said Prof. Umi.

    After a rigorous evaluation process, the jury has determined the rankings for the 2025 University-Level Outstanding Undergraduate Students (S-1). The following is the list of winners:  

    1). 1st Place: Yudha Putra Pratama, Student ID 63722026, English Literature Program  

    2). 2nd place: Qistan Yusrina Arifah, Student ID 51922147, Visual Communication Design Program  

    3). 3rd place: Yosephine Natania Pash, Student ID 4322006, International Relations Program  

    4). 4th place: Nuke Puri Herminanti, Student ID Number 41822073, Communication Studies Program  

    5). 5th place: Fatimah Zahra Afif, Student ID Number 21222017, Management Program  

    6). 6th place: Satyka Rachmawaty, Student ID 51922115, Visual Communication Design Program  

    6). 7th place: Nadya Nanda Prawila, Student ID Number 10622006, Regional and Urban Planning Study Program  

    7). 8th place: Gischa Sandrina Aulia, Student ID Number 13022004, Civil Engineering Study Program  

    8). In addition, the judges also determined the rankings for the 2025 University Level Diploma (D-3) Outstanding Students, with Syahla Tasya Kamila, Student ID Number 10823002, from the D3 Computer Engineering Study Program, winning first place.  

    The Director of Student Affairs at UNIKOM, Andrias Darmayadi, S.IP. M.Si., Ph.D., also expressed his response to the Pilmapres event: “I would like to thank the entire UNIKOM academic community for supporting the Pilmapres event, as evidenced by all faculties sending their best representatives to compete in the University Level Pilmapres. We hope that this university-level Pilmapres will produce the best students to represent UNIKOM and achieve the best results,” he concluded.

    UNIKOM congratulates the winners and all participants who have shown extraordinary fighting spirit. May this achievement spark new enthusiasm to continue working, inspiring, and bringing pride to UNIKOM on the national stage.

    Handover Of Book Collection Donation By Unikom Library Interns To Dwi Mekar Health Center 

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – As a real form of contribution to community literacy development, students from the Library Internship Program (PKL) at the Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM), Japanese Literature Study Program, conducted a social activity in the form of donating a book collection to the Dwi Mekar Health Post, located on Jalan Dipatiukur in Bandung, near the UNIKOM campus.

    The donation was held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, by four PKL participants: Syifa Amelia Hidayat, Elinda Sofyani, Muhammad Naufal Alfariz, and Adrian Virgi, accompanied by their PKL supervisor Maghfira Herdiani, S.S.I., and the Head of the Division of Development and Processing of Library Materials, Sri Utami Lestari, S.S.I. The donation consisted of 20 titles and 20 copies of printed books on Indonesian and international recipes. The collection was received by the Chairperson of the PKK RW 13 Cadre Movement, Indriyani, for use by the cadres and members of the local integrated health post to enhance reading culture and improve the economic conditions of the integrated health post under their care.

    What makes this activity more meaningful is that all the donated books were processed independently by the internship students as part of their learning or training in collection processing during their internship at the Library Directorate. The process included inventorying the collection as property of the RW 13 Integrated Health Post in Lebakgede Village, data entry, classification and cataloging, labeling, ownership stamping, binding, and shelving or arranging the collection to be ready for use. All stages were carried out systematically under the supervision of librarians or internship supervisors. 

    During the internship period, the students not only learned about the theory and procedures of library materials processing but also applied them directly in real-world work practices. The book collection handed over is the final outcome of these activities and serves as a tangible example of the students’ contributions to supporting literacy programs that directly impact the community.

    This handover activity was warmly received by the Dwi Mekar Health Post. The books donated will be used to support community education activities, particularly in mother and child development programs. During the handover event, the students also interacted directly with the Integrated Health Post managers. Additionally, this book donation program is one of the strategies to expand the library’s service reach to the community around the campus, especially local communities with limited access to quality reading materials. Integrated Health Post, as a center for maternal and child health activities, is considered a strategic partner for directly conveying information and literacy to the community.

    The Director of the UNIKOM Library, Ubudiyah Setiawati, S.Sos., M.I.Kom, hopes that this activity can serve as a good example of collaboration between educational institutions and the community in improving access to quality information and reading materials. Additionally, this activity is expected to serve as a trigger for similar programs in the future, whether in the form of community service, literacy training, or support for other reading facilities. With a collaborative spirit between higher education institutions and local communities, literacy among the Indonesian people can continue to grow and develop evenly.

    Such activities equip students with deep social experiences and foster a sense of responsibility as part of an intellectually engaged community. Through this initiative, it is hoped that internship students not only gain technical understanding of collection management but also recognize the importance of libraries in building a smart, literate, and inclusive society.

    “Urgent Communication Theory Assessment”

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – ASPIKOM (Communication Science Education Association) is an organization that accommodates Communication Science study programs in universities throughout Indonesia. Established to improve the quality of education, research, and community service in the field of communication, ASPIKOM also acts as a forum for cooperation between institutions and stakeholders in the field of communication. For this reason, to strengthen collaboration and update the development of communication, ASPIKOM held a halal bi halal (halbil) event at the Bandung West Java Regional Office on Thursday, May 1, 2025.

    The event was attended by Aspikom Jabar Board of Experts Prof. Dr. Asep Saiful Muhtadi, Aspikom Jabar Board of Trustees Prof. Atwar Bajari, ISKI Jabar Chairperson Athalia Praratya, Prof. Dian Wardiana Suchro, Dr. Sutrisno, and Aspikom Jabar Chairperson Dr. Ani Yuningsih, as well as Heads of Department, deans, and Aspikom Jabar administrators.

    At the opening ceremony, the chief executive, Dr. Ir. Yuni Dahlia Mogot, M.Si., a lecturer of communication studies at UNIKOM, acted as the coordinator of the ASPIKOM organization as well as the chief executive of the halal bi halal activity. She said that the participants who attended this activity were 80 people from 24 universities representing the Faculty and Communication Science study program in West Java, while the Chairperson of ASPIKOM Jabar, Dr. Ani Yuningsih, in her remarks, said that she was very happy for the support and presence of the Faculty leaders from PT Jabar.

    Furthermore, Dr. Ani also emphasized that “we must always maintain the cohesiveness of the brotherhood that has been established to be able to continue to be improved, and we must be proud that ASPIKOM Jabar is the best ASPIKOM in Indonesia” she said.

    While the Board of Trustees of Aspikom Jabar Prof. Atwar Bajari said, improving the Communication Science Study Program is no longer negotiable because it has become part of the accreditation instrument. In ASPIKOM, all study programs can improve their respective accreditation so that their performance can be better. “I see, this West Java ASPIKOM seems ordinary, but it turns out that its activities have gone to Thailand, Japan, and there are also many internal coaching activities. So let’s keep improving together even though we are in an era of extraordinary efficiency,” he said.

    Also present at the event were Dr. Desayu Eka Surya, S.Sos., M.Si., CICS, as the Head of the Master of Communication Studies Program at the UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty as well as the ASPIKOM management in the field of cooperation, Dr. Manap Solihat, M.Si., Head of the UNIKOM FISIP Communication Science Undergraduate Study Program, and Dr. Ir. Yuni Dahlia Mogot, M.Si., who is a UNIKOM Communication Science lecturer. He acted as the Coordinator of the ASPIKOM Organization as well as the Chief Executive of the Halal Bi Halal activity. Dr. Ir. Desayu as the Chairperson of the newly established Master of Communication Science Study Program at UNIKOM, said that she was very grateful to be able to attend the HBH and FGD held by ASPIKOM Jabar, so as to get information about the accreditation of the Communication Science Study Program at the Bachelor, Master and Doctoral levels starting January 2025 carried out under the assessment of the Self-Accreditation Institute for Social, Political, Administrative Sciences and Communication LAMSPAK, and Communication LAMSPAK.

    The presence of UNIKOM Communication Science Lecturers in the ASPIKOM Forum symbolizes the importance of UNIKOM’s role in encouraging synergy across communication education institutions at the national level and reflects the commitment of Communication Science study programs ranging from doctoral, masters and bachelor at the undergraduate level to continue to strengthen academic networks and improve the quality of communication education in Indonesia, especially in West Java.     UNIKOM Faculty of Design Holds SCOPA Education 2025 to Highlight the Role of Paper in Design

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – The world of design remains closely tied to the use of paper, despite the dominance of digital and social media. Realizing the importance of paper quality in supporting the strength of design work, the Faculty of Design at Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) in collaboration with PT Surya Palacejaya organized SCOPA Education (Surya Palace Creative on Paper) on the UNIKOM campus in Bandung.

    The event, which took place on Thursday, April 24, 2025, carried the theme ‘All About Paper’ as part of the Faculty of Design’s 2025 program. This event featured Tommy Wily Bonytua, S.T., from PT Surya Palacejaya as the main speaker, with Dr. Tiara Isfiaty, M.Sn., serving as moderator, as Head of the Interior Design Study Program and Lecturer of the Interior Design Study Program & MDS Postgraduate Program. This activity was attended by lecturers in the Faculty of Design and attended by students from the Visual Communication Design (DKV), Graphic Design, and Interior Design Study Programs, particularly those enrolled in Illustration II for the 2024/2025 academic year.

    This activity was led by Dr. Ambarsih Ekawardhani, M.Sn. as Chief Executive, supported by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rini Maulina, M.Sn., as Vice Chair, along with the committee team from the Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design, and Interior Study Programs. In her speech, Dr. Ambarsih Ekawardhani, M.Sn. said that “With this activity, students gain exposure to various types of specialty paper that are not widely available in the market. One of the interesting papers introduced is a paper that cannot be torn. This activity opens students’ insights that certain types of paper can improve the quality of design work, both visually and through sensory experience. Hopefully, this activity can broaden students’ understanding and appreciation of the variety of materials in the world of design,” said Dr. Ambarsih 

    In his presentation, Tommy introduced various types of imported paper distributed by PT Surya Palacejaya, as well as explained the characteristics and functions of each type of paper in supporting the quality of design work. One of the interesting moments was when participants were introduced to a paper product called Yupo – a synthetic paper that cannot be torn. The participants tried to tear the paper in various ways, but none of them succeeded, which generated a lot of enthusiasm among the participants.

    SCOPA Education also marked the launch of BAKSYA 2025, the Faculty of Design’s Illustration Competition for Creative Design Works. This competition is planned as a national-scale event involving students from various universities in Indonesia, especially in the field of Visual Communication Design. BAKSYA will include competitions and exhibitions of works, becoming a creative platform for design students throughout Indonesia to express their innovative ideas.

    With the implementation of SCOPA Education 2025, the UNIKOM Faculty of Design hopes that students will increasingly understand the importance of choosing the right media in their creative process and strengthen their competitiveness in both national and international creative industries.

    UNIKOM Master of Design Program Welcomes UNTAR Visit to Strengthen Global Quality Education

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – Knowing the national or international standards of other universities helps an institution in preparing for accreditation. Benchmarking can also improve academic reputation, both at the national and global levels. Like the Master of Design Program, Postgraduate Faculty of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM), which warmly welcomed a benchmarking visit from the Master of Design Study Team of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Design (FSRD) Tarumanagara University (UNTAR) on Friday, April 25, 2025. This activity took place in Room 12.020, 12th Floor, starting at 13.00 WIB.

    This visit aims to strengthen relations between educational institutions, especially between UNIKOM and UNTAR. It also served as a platform to share experiences, exchange insights on curriculum development, and discuss program management, particularly within UNIKOM’s Master of Design Program. This is the basis for starting cooperation in the academic realm and expanding both institutions to expand networks in improving the quality of higher education.

    The benchmarking activity was attended by representatives from UNTAR including: Agus Danarto, S.Sn., M.Ds., as Secretary of the Visual Communication Design (DKV) Study Program, Dr. Siti Nurannisaa, S.Sn., M.Pd., and Dr. Aghastya Wiyoso S.Sn.M.Sn. as the UNTAR Design Master Study Team, and Noeratri Andanwerti S.Sn., M.Sn., as Manager 2. In addition, the Dean of the UNIKOM Postgraduate Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.si., Head of the UNIKOM Master of Design Study Program, Dr. Taufan Hidayatullah, S.Sn., M.Ds., UNIKOM Master of Design Lecturer and ARTIC Journal Manager, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rini Maulina, S.Sn., M.Sn, Master of Design Lecturer Dr. Yully Ambarsih E, S.Sn., M.Sn, and Head of UNIKOM Postgraduate Bureau, Drs. Sutiman.

    The Head of the UNIKOM Master of Design Study Program, Dr. Taufan Hidayatullah, S.Sn., M.Ds conveyed his goals and expectations from the benchmarking activity,  “Hopefully, from this benchmarking activity, we at UNIKOM can share experiences and knowledge with UNTAR, particularly regarding the management of the Master of Design Program,” he said.

    On this occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies Prof. Dr. Rahma Wahdiniwaty, Dra., M.si.., also welcomed UNTAR’s visit to UNIKOM’s Master of Design, she and the Head of the Master of Design Study Program also presented the program profile, which included its establishment since 2013, the vision and mission to become a superior study program with local strength and global competitiveness, a curriculum structure of 42 credits taken in four semesters, as well as various excellent activities such as international seminars, international journal writing, industrial visits, and comparative studies. 

    UNIKOM’s Master of Design program also features a hybrid lecture system that is held every Saturday, as well as cooperation with various institutions in design activities, including collaborative projects such as one with Bandung Zoo. In the field of alumni, graduates of this program have contributed to leading universities and Indonesia’s creative industries, working as designers, film directors, and entrepreneurs.

    The presentation was followed by an interactive discussion session and plans to explore further cooperation between UNIKOM and UNTAR. The warm event concluded with an exchange of souvenirs. The visit is expected to serve as both a platform for sharing knowledge and a launchpad for collaboration, enriching both institutions as they develop Master of Design programs that are globally competitive while remaining rooted in Indonesia’s local values.

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – The Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) UNIKOM, held an event titled “AKFUNtansi 2025: Let’s Party With Exciting Fantasies and Shine Like an Accountant Star” on Saturday, April 12, 2025. Taking place in the 4th Floor Auditorium of the Miracle Building, the event ran from 10:00 WIB until completion as part of the 29th Anniversary of the Accounting Student Association (HIMAk). The program featured art performances, outfit parades, student talent showcases, alumni talk shows, and motivational sessions on organizational development.

    The event opened with remarks from the Head of the Accounting Undergraduate Program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sri Dewi Anggadini, SE, M.Si.., Ak., emphasized the importance of creating spaces for student expression and appreciation. “The HIMAk Anniversary is not just a celebration, but also a valuable learning space. Students can hone their soft skills, foster a sense of ownership, and strengthen cross-generational networks,” she said. “I hope HIMAk will continue to be a space for leadership development, strengthen community synergy, and inspire other organizations.”

    UNIKOM Director of Student Affairs, Andrias Darmayadi, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D., also delivered encouragement in his remarks: “Involvement in organizations is essential for building character, leadership, and readiness for the professional world. Don’t hesitate to be active, because it shapes you into a well-rounded individual who is ready to compete.”

    In the talk show session, accounting alumna Mrs. Ajeng, SE., shared her professional journey. “In the world of work, GPA is not the only thing that matters. Attitude, communication, and adaptability are crucial—and organizational experience is the best preparation for the real world.”

    The event was also attended by the Dean of FEB UNIKOM, Prof. Dr. Siti Kurnia Rahayu, SE, M.Ak, Ak., CA.; Head of the D3 Accounting Program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Wati Aris Astuti, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA., and Head of the BKKLA Division, Dr. Nungki Kusuma, along with students from multiple generations.

    “Keep learning, achieving, and contributing with enthusiasm. Make every activity like AKFUNtansi a space to grow into strong and proud accountants,” said Prof. Dr. Siti Kurnia Rahayu to all Accounting students.

    With its atmosphere of creativity and togetherness, AKFUNtansi 2025 highlighted that UNIKOM Accounting students are not only academically accomplished but also capable of becoming an inspiring generation of future leaders.

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – Synergy between the government and the education environment is the main goal in national development, especially in improving the quality of education. After Eid al-Fitr 1446 H, to strengthen relationships and foster a sense of togetherness, Coblong Subdistrict, Bandung, a Halal bi Halal gathering in 2025, involving State Civil Apparatus (ASN) and stakeholders from business, education, security, and health sectors in Coblong Subdistrict.

    Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) represented by the Head of Public Relations & Public Communication Information Division, Arif Try Cahyadi, M.Ds., together with the Staff of the Directorate of Public Relations and Protocol UNIIKOM, Aldi Mohamad Akbar, S.Ds., attended the invitation as a form of friendship and participation in the local government. The activity was held at Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers, Jl. Ir. H. Juanda No. 390, Dago, Coblong District, Bandung City, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. 

    On this occasion Krinda Hamidipradja, S.H., M.Si., as the Head of Coblong Sub-district, gave his speech “Thank you to the stakeholders in Coblong Sub-district who have attended, starting from the leaders or representatives from business actors, religious actors, education, health, and security. With the motto Coblong JITU (Honest, Innovative, Responsive, Superior and Achieving), as a motivation for the success of Coblong sub-district to be more advanced, healthy, and achieving,” he said.

    The togetherness of the Halal Bihalal activity was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Bandung, H. Erwin, S.E., M.Pd., who also delivered a tausyiah and guidance to the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in the Coblong District environment and guests. Erwin conveyed 2 (two) main points, namely the duty of leadership as a means to attain Allah’s heaven by understanding his duties as a leader, namely intelligent (intellectual, spiritual & emotional qualities), honest (the words & actions of a leader will be held accountable), fair, tolerant, balanced, and brave to uphold goodness, and conveyed that the people who are longed for by the heavenly experts are people who can hold back anger and can forgive other people’s mistakes, from there including people who are loved by Allah SWT. so that they may be rewarded with heaven as vast as the heavens and the earth.

    After the tausyiah, the Halal Bi Halal activity was continued with a joint prayer and photo documentation to immortalize the activity. Then the event was completed with musyafahah (shaking hands) as a symbol of forgiveness between officials in Coblong District and ASN and invited guests who attended and closed with hospitality. 

    Through this Halal Bi Halal activity, it is hoped that a closer and more harmonious relationship will be established between elements of government and the world of education, especially UNIKOM and Coblong District. UNIKOM’s presence shows a commitment to continue to work together in building an educated, moral, and respectful society. The spirit of mutual forgiveness and strengthening cross-sector collaboration is expected to be the foundation in creating an inclusive, peaceful, and productive environment in the future.

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – In an effort to increase student creativity and innovation, the Directorate of Student Affairs of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) as the Chairperson of PKM UNIKOM held a socialization event entitled “Innovation Strategies to Pass Funding for Student Creativity Programs and Pimnas 2025”. The event, which took place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, was held online via Zoom and broadcast live on YouTube PKM UNIKOM.

    The Student Creativity Program (PKM) is an event developed to hone student creativity and innovation based on science, technology, and high faith. Through this socialization, UNIKOM seeks to equip students with strategies for preparing better quality PKM proposals, in order to increase the chances of qualifying for the 2025 National Student Scientific Week (PIMNAS).

    The event was opened with remarks from the UNIKOM Director of Student Affairs as well as the Chairperson of PKM UNIKOM, Mr. Andrias Darmayadi, S.IP., M.Si., Ph.D. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of early preparation, even though the PKM 2025 guidelines had not yet been officially released. “This socialization is the first step in increasing the number of proposals that pass funding and penetrate PIMNAS. We hope that with the strategies provided, UNIKOM can move up the cluster in PKM this year,” he said.

    Full support was also conveyed by the Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hj Umi Narimawaty, Dra., M.Si. She appreciated the role of accompanying lecturers in guiding students and invited all students to continue to hone their creativity. “Don’t give up easily. Continue to explore and develop creative ideas in order to produce extraordinary work,” she said.

    This socialization presented two experienced speakers. The first speaker, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Drs. Bandung Arry Sanjoyo, MI.Komp., from Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), is a PKM Dikti Reviewer, PIMNAS Jury Team, and PKM Book Guidelines Compilation Team. In his presentation, he emphasized the importance of following the proposal writing guidelines carefully. “Small mistakes in the preparation of proposals can be the main reason for not passing funding. Therefore, students must really understand the applicable rules and present creative ideas that are competitive,” he explained.

    The second resource person, the Head of UNIKOM PKM Reviewer, Dr. Hj Supriyati, SE, M.Si, Ak, CA, ASEAN, CPA, C.PI, CIAP, provided insights related to UNIKOM Internal PKM Selection and PKM Simbelmawa. She invited students to adjust the type of PKM chosen with their respective fields of science and design relevant themes so that the chances of qualifying are greater.

    This activity not only provides technical insight into the strategy of preparing PKM proposals, but also builds a competitive spirit among UNIKOM students. With guidance from resource persons and accompanying lecturers, it is hoped that more UNIKOM students will be able to penetrate national funding and successfully compete in PIMNAS 2025.

    With the support of the UNIKOM Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Soeryanto Soegoto, M.T., and the synergy between students and lecturers, PKM UNIKOM is optimistic to make more achievements in the upcoming PKM and PIMNAS events.

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – To create a generation of innovative and competitive young entrepreneurs, the Directorate of Business Incubator and KUMKM UNIKOM (INBISKOM) held the UNIKOM Student Entrepreneur Cadre (P2MU) 2025 with the theme “Lahirkan Inovasi, Ciptakan Peluang”. This activity was held on February 25-26, 2025, at Villa Cattleya Cibodas, Lembang, Bandung, West Java.

    P2MU 2025 aims to form students who have an entrepreneurial spirit, high creativity, and readiness to face challenges in the business world. This activity is not just a theoretical briefing event but also instills the values of innovation and perseverance in creating business opportunities. The P2MU 2025 cadre was attended by around 56 participants from various scientific fields in Unikom and various business fields with great potential. 

    This activity was opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lilis Puspitawati, AK, CA, CRP, CSRS, the Director of INBISKOM. She emphasized that P2MU is a strategic forum for UNIKOM students to hone their entrepreneurial spirit, build creativity, and expand business networks. “In this challenging era, we are not only required to be job seekers but also job creators. Through P2MU, we are committed to producing young entrepreneurs who are resilient, innovative, and ready to compete at the global level,” said Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lilis. 

    She also expressed her appreciation to the committee, supervisors, and all parties who have supported the implementation of this event. She hopes that the entrepreneurial spirit instilled through P2MU can become a strong foundation for UNIKOM students in achieving success in the business world.

    P2MU 2025 presents various interesting and educational activities, such as: 1) Seminar and Workshop – Presenting speakers from among business practitioners and successful entrepreneurs who share experiences and strategies in developing businesses; 2) Networking Session – Provides opportunities for participants to meet and discuss with fellow students and business mentors; and 3) Direct Mentoring – Guidance sessions from experts in the field of entrepreneurship that help participants develop more mature business strategies.
    One of the big dreams of P2MU 2025 is to create new startups from students who can contribute to economic growth, both at the local and national levels. With the spirit of collaboration and innovation, students are encouraged to create businesses that are not only creative but also sustainable. P2MU 2025 proves that UNIKOM students have great potential in the entrepreneurship world. With this activity, it is expected that they can continue to develop innovative business ideas and be able to compete at the national and international levels.

    World Animation Producer, Chris Colman, Visits UNIKOM Animation Division 

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – Animation gives creators the freedom to express their ideas and imagination without limits. With increasingly sophisticated digital tools, anyone can learn and create animation easily. With the rapid development of the digital world, knowledge about animation is not only relevant for artists and designers but also for anyone who wants to contribute to the creative industry, technology, or education.

    The Animation Division of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) had a special guest on a special visit that was held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025. Christopher Colman, a renowned producer and creative consultant from Final Frontier, was present to share insights and experiences with students who are also members of the UNIKOM Animation Division. Colman is known as a figure who has been involved in various major animation projects, including the iconic film Kung Fu Panda, and projects with giant animation studios such as Disney and DreamWorks Oriental.

    The visit aimed to establish a closer relationship between the international animation industry and academia, as well as provide insight for students on how the creative process in the animation industry works. In a warm and enthusiastic sharing session, Colman shared his stories about the challenges and opportunities in the global animation industry.

    Colman also took the time to visit Hits UNIKOM Radio. He discussed the possibility of collaboration between radio and the UNIKOM Animation Division in creative content creation. One of the highlighted projects is the development of the YouTube animation series The Jurigs, a UNIKOM student creative production that carries a typical Indonesian comedy horror theme.

    Christopher Colman’s visit is expected to provide inspiration for UNIKOM students to continue working and exploring opportunities in the global animation industry. With this meeting, UNIKOM has further proven its commitment in developing young talents in the field of animation who are ready to compete at the international level.
