  • Increase Brand Loyalty Through Brand Benefits on Domestic Products In Indonesia

    Abstract

    This study aims to analyze the effect of brand benefits in increasing brand loyalty of domestic products in Indonesia, a study on users of Indonesian domestic skincare products. A quantitative approach was used in the research, by distributing a comprehensive questionnaire and literature. The number of samples obtained was 200 people and Structural Equation Modeling was used in the data analysis technique. The results of the study show that the description of brand benefits and brand loyalty is quite high and brand benefits have an effect on brand loyalty. The dimension of brand benefit that contributes the most is emotional benefit, while the dimension of brand benefit that contributes the least and needs to be improved is social benefit. © 2022, Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.   • Investor Sentiment Based on Search Engine Data for Predicting 

    Stock Returns in Indonesia Industrial Sector

    Abstract

    This study aims to investigate investor sentiment and its effect on the industrial sector in Indonesia. In the study, investor sentiment was extracted from data obtained from search engines. Then the data were used to see how the sentiment affected the stock return in each listed industrial company. Fifteen industrial sector companies listed on the stock exchange were selected; each was analyzed for their search volume and the effect on stock returns using panel data regression from March 2020 to April 2022. The result shows that investor sentiment affects the level of stock returns in the industrial sector in Indonesia. This result indicates that with the increase in search volume on search engines, which reflects positive sentiment, there will be an increase in stock trading transactions and vice versa. This study’s findings will help investors make investment decisions, especially in the industrial sector. © 2023, Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. All rights reserved.

    Abstract

    One of the increase in international business activity is characterized by increasing foreign direct investment. Investments made by multinational companies create increasing competition in the industry in implementing the global strategy. It became a challenge for Haier to survive and continue to grow in its management to maintain its industrial surroundings, therefore Haier is also required to improve the ability and expertise of its management by increasing employee job satisfaction organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior. However, job satisfaction organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior in PT. Haier sales indonesia still felt weak situation and condition characterized by the presence of a low level, high employee absenteeism and employee turnover intention average of 22% because if the level of intentions out employee reaches 2% and above categorized as high. The purpose of this study was to determine job satisfaction organizational commitment and organizational citizenship behavior, determine the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment to investigate the influence job satisfaction and organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior partially and simultaneously. The unit of analysis in this study is PT.HSI, the unit of observation in this study were all employees in PT. HSI Bandung Branch. The number of employees in the branch PT. HSI Bandung as many as 136 people. In this study, used two types of analysis: descriptive analysis especially for qualitative variables and analysis of verification of testing the hypothesis by using statistical tests. Analysis (verification) in this study using the test equipment structural equation model (structural equation modeling) and processed using LISREL 8.70. The results of the analysis and discussion undertaken by the researchers that relate job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The influence of job satisfaction on organizational citizenship behavior, the influence of organizational commitment on organizational citizenship behavior. And their influence job satisfaction and commitment to the organization organizational citizenship behavior with the same. © Medwell Journals, 2017.

    Abstract

    The objectives of this study are to assess appropriate method for sustainability level in developing Majalengka region, to apply chosen method, and to analyze the result. The methods are literature review and direct calculation to estimate sustainability level in regional development. Sustainable Development Indicators (SDI), Environmental Sustainability Index (ESI), Ecological Footprint (EF) and Wellbeing Index (WI) were assessed as an appropriate method. Wellbeing Index is used to analyze the level of sustainable regional development in Majalengka. The result of the calculation shows that wellbeing index (WI) is 75 and wellbeing stress index (WSI) is 2.72. The value of WSI is between OK and medium band, this shows that the pressure to increase human wellbeing has not override ecosystem pressure. The level of sustainability in the barometer of sustainability is in the medium position, this position is “almost sustainable” for both ecosystem and human system (households). This result is used to recommend Majalengka region stakeholders in formulating development policy. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    This research is to analyze the overall business needs and harmonize with the strategies found in the Ministry of Commerce to improve the quality of services to the community. Develop an information system architecture concept that is able to meet the needs of all parties who have an interest in the Ministry of Commerce and Analyzed the success rate of the old application system migration with new ones. The method used is based on the Togaf ADM Framework by preparing data and analyzing from the flow of business processes with information systems that will be stored in the application database. The results obtained are in the form of electronic system architecture design in the Directorate of Export and Import Facilitation, the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Trade can be used as a guide in its development. The results of this design obtained an integrated system that produces integrated business processes in all organizational units that require data flow to Indonesia National Single Window (INSW) through the Inatrade portal.     Abstract

    The purpose of this study is to show the design model’s application of a system-based on Forum Islamic Boarding School to integrate all related functions. The research used descriptive and explanatory research methods, while the type of data taken by conducting interviews and observations with the Forum Islamic Boarding School. Secondary data is taken from the theories available in journals, e-books, proceedings, and slide presentations on the results of seminars and government policies. The results of the study is to make islamic boarding schools application as a tool for develop themselves, introduced to the use of technology and become an institution that lead Pesantren towards Modern Islamic Boarding Schools.     Abstract

    The purpose of this study is to examine e-commerce information systems in agriculture. This system is useful for distributing information about seed purchases online in the local area and can increase investment funds to overcome the problem of buying in trade. The research method used consisted of data collection methods (observation, interviews and literature studies) and FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The research results show the establishment of an e-commerce system that can help horticultural seed shops in several regions or communities to introduce and sell horticultural seeds online with a transaction system or COD. Besides, product, customer, and sales data can be used in this system. The use of information systems (SI) by Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in developed countries increases the number of SI applications and still low compared to large companies. Meanwhile, in developing countries, the use of SI by SMEs is still relatively low. The use of SI by SMEs is an interesting thing to know.   • Utilization of Artificial Intelligence in Tax Audit in Indonesia

    Abstract

    The purpose of the article is to explain the design of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the tax audit system which includes the existing status of ICT, the possibility of AI adoption in the Tax Administration System, supporting factors, challenges in implementing AI and the readiness of tax auditors in Directorate General of Taxes (DGT) in implementing AI. The research used a qualitative method through interviews with three key informants. The key informants came from the DGT who designed the Information System at DGT and relevant to the Tax Audit, in Jakarta Indonesia. Apart from key informants, the research also included an analysis of several documents issued by the DGT regarding the Information System at DGT. The data analysis used in this research was inductive analysis. The findings indicate that there are challenges to system development synergy at DGT related to the development process by adopting a private sector work style. DGT is still trying to understand the potential benefits of implementing a system with AI due to the novelty of the system and it has not been tested so that the predictions of benefits are uncertain, as well. © 2021, Universiti Teknologi Mara.     Abstract

    This study aims to analyze the Digital Promotion of Local Tourist Destinations in the New Normal Era and Its Effect on the Economy in Indonesia. The research uses a case study method and data collection through in-depth interviews and online observations. Informants were determined by purposive sampling technique consisting of the government, the community, and tourism communication experts. The results show that the promotion objective is to maximize tourism potential and economic recovery through the tourism sector. Marketing targets include mapping four perspectives. Design messages and media containing travel invitations using health protocols (maintaining distance, wearing masks, washing hands, limiting interactions, staying away from crowds) and messages with CHSE standards (Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environment Sustainability). Promotional mix carried out by advertising and Public Relations. The evaluation includes the evaluation of health protocols through focus group discussions. In conclusion, the digital promotion of local tourist destinations has been maximal but flexible by looking at every development of the pandemic condition—the impact of this research for policy considerations to revive the tourism industry and the economy. © 2022, Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.     Abstract

    Digital disruption innovation in the financial services industry is an innovation that has succeeded in changing the financial industry landscape, starting from its structure, technology, and marketing model. The emergence of the Financial Technology (Fintech) industry marks a disruptive innovation in the financial services industry. This study aims to analyze the role of the Indonesian government in the era of banking disruption. The research method used was descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach—data obtained through interviews and literature study, Bank Indonesia, the Indonesian Fintech Association, and the National Bank Association. Before the research started, the validity of the data was first tested. The results of the study state that the government encourages banking and fintech to grow side by side and is directed to collaborate immediately. The role of the government as a regulator has been performed by the Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia (BI, Central Bank of Indonesia) by issuing various regulations. The study concluded that there are three areas that regulators need to monitor and guard, including misuse of public funds, protection of the public, private data, and money laundering. © 2022, Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
