BANDUNG, UNIKOM — On Friday, April 3, 2026, the Majelis Ta’lim (MT) Ashfiyatunisa of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) held its weekly study session. The session was conducted online via the Zoom Meeting platform, featuring Ustadz Dedi Hariadi, Lc., and attended by the board members as well as members of UNIKOM academic community. On this occasion, MT Ashfiyatunisa addressed the theme “A Gift Called Guidance: Part 2” as a continuation of the previous discussion, offering rich spiritual values and reflections on life.
The session was officially opened by the Chairperson of the MT Ashfiyatunisa Board, Apriani Puti Purfini, S.Kom., M.T., and began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an delivered by Tilawah, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Adeh Ratna Komala, S.E., M.Si., CERA., along with Dr. Surtikanti, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA. The recited verse conveys a profound meaning regarding the essence of guidance, that true guidance comes solely from Allah SWT, as stated in Surah Al-Qasas, verse 56: “Innaka lā tahdī man aḥbabta walākinna Allāha yahdī man yasyā’, wa huwa a‘lamu bil-muhtadīn,” which means, “Indeed, you (Muhammad) cannot guide those you love, but Allah guides whom He wills, and He knows best those who are guided.”
The activity then continued with a presentation by Ustadz Dedi Hariadi, Lc., who explained that guidance is the most precious gift in human life. Guidance not only directs a person toward the truth but also brings ease in practicing obedience. He emphasized that the pleasure derived from such obedience is known as taufik, the ability granted by Allah SWT to remain steadfast on the path of goodness.
Furthermore, Ustadz Dedi stated that guidance is the sole path leading humanity to Paradise. Without guidance, one cannot attain salvation in the Hereafter. Therefore, when a person has received guidance, they have truly received the greatest blessing that surpasses all worldly pleasures. “Guidance will make it easier for us to do good, and conversely, it will make it difficult for us to do bad. This is a sign that Allah loves His creatures and desires good for them,” he explained.
The study session served as a reflective moment for the UNIKOM academic community to continue seeking and maintaining guidance in every aspect of life. Through this activity, MT Ashfiyatunisa UNIKOM demonstrated its commitment to being a consistent platform for spiritual development, shaping individuals who are faithful, pious, and good character.
