Abstract:
Fraud is a systematic crime that has a very broad impact. It can happen in any fields, including in hospitals. Fraud is a form of corruption. Hospital is a health service institution. Corruption in hospitals has the potential to lead to ineffective health services for people. The phenomenon of health care fraud in hospital is an indication the law does not function in accordance with the objective. This study aims to determine the functionalization of law and sentence for fraudulent acts as a form of corruption in hospitals based on justice values. This study is a descriptive study with normative juridical method that employed statutory and conceptual approaches. The data were collected through a literature study. It was subsequently analyzed qualitatively. This study is of the position to view that prosecution of criminal acts of corruption requires functionalization of law. The functionalization of law must be interpreted as positioning everything in its proper place. It is the synergy of the legal system, which consists of formulative, judicial, and executive policies. The criminal procedures can apply the punishment system for perpetrators of fraudulent acts in hospitals that includes extended alternative punishment. © 2021, Padjadjaran University. Authors: Rizky Jumansyah, Muhammad Ihsan Rifaldi, Eddy Soeryanto Soegoto
Abstract
Geofencing is a GPS-based technology that monitors the movement of objects such as vehicles, people, and goods, and automatically sends their geographic coordinates to a control center via a network. By defining a virtual boundary around an area, called a geofence, the system can determine if the object is within or outside of the boundary and issue a warning if it’s outside. The aim of this study is to analyse bibliometric data on geofencing using VOSviewer software in order to gain insights into the research trends and identify main themes that can be useful for future research. The study used a quantitative and descriptive bibliometric approach and searched for articles on “Geofencing marketing” on Google Scholar. The search yielded 1000 articles published between 2017-2022. The findings indicate that research on geofencing peaked in 2017 and declined in 2018 and 2019, increased in 2020, but declined again in 2021 and 2022. The study highlights the importance of bibliometric analysis in geofencing marketing research and serves as a reference for future research on this topic. © 2023 Taylor’s University. Abstract
Many travel businesses continue to employ a conventional system that needs customers to come to them directly to purchase tickets. Using this approach, however, takes a long time and is inefficient. With the advancement of information technology, it is now feasible to access data practically, quickly, and efficiently, which may be advantageous to the firm. This study’s goal is to create an information system for booking and canceling tickets. The design of this information system may make it simpler for customers and officials, and it can be taken into account in an effort to solve information system difficulties. This study technique employs descriptive data gathering methods such as observation and interviews with MyTours travel agents, whereas the system development method uses structured methodologies. The findings of this study indicate the design of Mytours’ information system for ordering and canceling tickets. It is hoped that this research will be taken into account in the improvement of information systems, as well as make it easier for consumers and officers to access information effectively and efficiently. © School of Engineering, Taylor’s University.

Efficient Autonomous Road Vehicles Local Path Planning Strategy in Dynamic Urban Environment Using Rrt-Acs, Bi-Directional Rule Templates, and Configuration Time-Space
Authors: Muhammad Aria Rajasa Pohan, Jana Utama
Abstract
This study aims to present an effective local path-planning strategy for Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) operating in a dynamic urban environment. The method combines bi-directional rule templates, configuration time-space, and RRT-ACS algorithm (hybridization of rapidly exploring random tree star with ant colony system). The use of RRT-ACS accelerates the convergence of feasible pathway planning. Path quality is improved using bi-directional rule templates derived from dynamic urban environment traffic scenarios and combining the RRT-ACS algorithm with configuration time-space. The resulting technique, RRT+BRT+CTS (RRT-ACS with two-way rule template and configuration space-time), emerged as a major research breakthrough. Several simulations of dynamic urban environmental conditions are used to validate the effectiveness of the RRT+BRT+CTS. Comparisons were made with two well-known path-planning algorithms used in dynamic urban environments: Fast RRT and Closed Loop RRT (CL-RRT). The simulation results demonstrate the superior performance of the proposed strategy for local path planning in dynamic environments regarding speed and efficiency for AVs. As a result, the proposed strategy is a suitable choice for addressing the complex challenges of Avs’s urban navigation. © School of Engineering, Taylor’s University.

Authors: Graha Noviana, Agus Rahayu, Ratih Hurriyati, Lili A. D. I. Wibowo, Erwin Yulianto, Rizky Jumansyah
Abstract
Research still does not frequently use the concept of value creation through the application of big data analytics. Additionally, the internet serves as a limitless supply of knowledge that comes from different people all over the world and is delivered in a variety of ways, including text documents, photos, audio files, and video. Search engine is a tool used to find different types of information on the internet. The issue that frequently occurs when looking for information online is that the search results for the intended subject are frequently unrelated to the terms entered. In order to increase the relevance of the data obtained from the search results, the goal of this study is to implement the query expansion approach, which involves reformulating the initial query in order to add several phrases utilizing a thesaurus. The waterfall model was used in conjunction with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in the research. The results showed that the creation of a document search engine based on an information retrieval system was able to enhance data relevance and the standard of document search outcomes in big data analysis. The recall results are higher due to the usage of query expansion, which allowed for the retrieval of more pertinent documents. It is clear that by adopting this technique, the relevancy of the data in the search system can be improved. © School of Engineering, Taylor’s University.
