    Abstract

    A computer network is a telecommunications network that allows computers to communicate with each other by exchanging data. At Nurul Jalal Islamic Boarding School, they have taken advantage of advances in computer network technology, but have not been fully connected properly. Therefore, in this research, a local area network (LAN) network architecture that is connected to speedy internet will be built and developed. The design of this network architecture includes designing a connection to the internet speedy network and designing a computer lab architecture that is connected to the network at the Nurul Jalal Islamic Boarding School. This study aims to design the existing technology with the system and add technologies and systems that do not yet exist so that they can be integrated into a computer network connected to the speedy internet network. It is hoped that this research will help teachers and students of Nurul Jalal Islamic Boarding School in exploring information so that it can help effective and efficient learning. © 2024, Intelektual Pustaka Media Utama.     Abstract

    Marketing Environment And Source of Competitive Advantage In Terms of Formulating Marketing Strategy And Its Influence On Image And Marketing Performance (Survey on Private Universities at Private Higher Educational Institutional Coordinator Area IV in West Java and Banten Provinces / Kopertis) In order to know the causes of the decrease of the new students in Private Higher Education Institution (PTS) Area IV in West Java and Banten Provinces since 2002/2003 up to now; the present writer conducted a research on factors of marketing environment, source of competitive advantage, marketing strategy, image and marketing performance using a survey method at the concerned stakeholder, namely 215 leaders at PTS drawn using stratified random sampling, 2150 students and 2150 member of community drawn using disproportionate random sampling as well as using descriptive analysis for quantitative variables and analysis of verification to test hypothesis using structural equation model (SEM) with the tools of LISREL software. The research result shows that the marketing environment concerning macro environment: demography, economy, technology, politics, and culture; as well as micro environment: vendor, mediator, consumer market, competitors, and consumers; as well as source of competitive advantage concerning superior resource, resource, superior skill, and superior control affect on the image and the marketing performance. The greatest effect is originated from the source of competitive advantage. Image consists of trust, surety, emotional relationship, loyalty affect on the marketing performance, covering of the number of the new students, quality of graduates, alumni absorption, with the greatest influence is given by the factor of positional superiority. © 2009, INSInet Publication.

    Abstract

    ASEAN community 2015 moves the competition of Indonesia up to another level, from only domestic competition to a wider ASEAN regional competition. This study aims to investigate preparedness level of universities in Indonesia in the face of ASEAN regional competition. Market orientation in higher education is a definite need of universities to compete effectively. Coordination between functions and standards in universities is the foundation to manage competitiveness. Model of correlation between market orientation and quality of education standard, research standard and community service standard, supported by the accountability framework of the university, develops the competitive advantage and its impact on performance.

    Abstract

    One key autonomous driving car application that can be utilized to address the problem of parking spaces is autonomous parking. The goal of this study is to develop a path planning algorithm that can swiftly create a path for autonomous parking in a variety of car parking settings. The method employed is a mix of Rapidly Exploring Random Tree Star and Ant Colony Systems (RRT-ACS). The RRT-ACS method can quickly provide an ideal path. The reed sheep planner technique is also used to provide a smooth curving path that non-holonomic vehicles can follow. The performance of the RRT-ACS algorithm-based autonomous parking system is compared to that of the RRT*-connect and informed RRT*-connect algorithms. The simulation tests were performed in common parking settings such as parallel parking and vertical parking. The test results reveal that the suggested autonomous parking system outperforms other comparative algorithms. It is possible to infer that a route planning algorithm capable of rapidly designing a path for automatic parking in a variety of car parking circumstances has been successfully built. These findings may have ramifications for self-driving cars equipped with advanced driver support systems.

    Abstract

    The education 4.0 plan had initiated major changes to the education sector’s workflow and teaching method. In Indonesia, this sudden transformation is perceived as both an opportunity and a drawback, especially in language learning. This study investigates how technology can be integrated in language education, with the purpose of designing a strategy that addresses pedagogical problems, enhances the implementation of technology, and increases learning effectiveness among students. The methods used in this research are Mixed-method, Comparative analysis, and Framework development. The result shows that while the shift to online learning presented challenges for both teachers and students, such as technological proficiency and maintaining engagement, it also opened up opportunities to utilize innovative technologies like Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) and game-based learning to enhance language acquisition. In conclusion, adoption of Information Technology (IT) in the language education sector has its own challenges and opportunity, comprehensive understanding of how IT influences language education during and after pandemic to better guide technological innovation to the betterment of the language education sector. © 2024, Universitas Negeri Makassar- Faculty of Languages and Literature.   • Linguistic Technopreneurship in Business Success Digitalization for Small Medium Enterprises in West Java: Implication for Language Education

    Abstract

    The increase in borderless digital-based business competition shows how language education is impacted by neoliberalism in this global era. We explore how linguistic technopreneurship (LT) roles is increasingly constructed as a form of linguistic entrepreneurship to exploit language-related resources to enhance one’s socioeconomic value strategically. This research aims to critically examine the influence of LT toward business success digitalization for Small Medium Enterprises in West Java and it’s implication for Language Education. The research also focusing on the creation of novelty, namely linguistic technopreneurship (LT), which is a refinement of entrepreneurial linguistics (EL). LT is expected to be able to explain how linguistic entrepreneurship can be indexed from two different aspects, namely how to package language education and digital business success. We then discuss under what conditions the notion of linguistic technopreneurship can be applied to digital platform-based business settings and what kind of contradictions this gives rise to. The method used is quantitative, and it involves carrying out SEM analysis. A non-probability sampling technique was used to obtain a minimum of 250 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Industry owners who run their businesses through digital platforms in West Java province, which is the province with the most significant number of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Industries in Indonesia. The research results show that LT significantly influences the success of business success and impact the language education practice.   • The Collaboration Between Space Form and Islamic Cultural Rituals on the Cultural Landscape Pattern of Cirebon City

    Abstract

    There is a collaboration between spatial forms and Islamic (Javanese) cultural rituals in Cirebon city, which has the potential to shape the uniqueness of the cultural landscape. The research object is the Kanoman Sultanate which conducts the annual ritual, ‘M(a)uludan’ tradition. The aim is to describe the collaboration between the physical forms of the Keraton Kanoman and the M (a)uludan Tradition, which is the Islamic or Javanese culture. This involved using the qualitative description method through cultural participation for a period of 8 years. The results showed the existence of an imaginary space formation strung together by the presence of residents from 31 villages as followers (wargi) of the Keraton Kanoman. Moreover, the spatial form of the ritual route was discovered to have been formed for several generations. The people strongly believe that the presence and involvement of these routes can bring them virtue, blessings, prosperity, as well as protection from misfortune.     Abstract

    Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand Growth Triangle (IMT-GT) is a sub-regional collaboration formed to accelerate economic transformation in less developed regions. The Growth Triangle is the basis of an economic concept driven by a strong political commitment. Through one of the sectors within the IMT-GT framework, the sub-regional cooperation in air transportation, Indonesia supports and plays an active role in implementing IMT-GT activities. In terms of implementation, it proposes flight points between the IMT-GT regions to improve air connectivity between these countries. The purpose of this study is to formulate the best strategy formulation for Indonesian government policymakers, in this case, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Transportation, to deal with IMT-GT cooperation. This research uses a qualitative approach with a SWOT analysis method and a grand strategy matrix. The research locus was carried out at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation of the Republic of Indonesia in 2019 with 6 key informants who have competencies and strategic positions at the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. © 2022 Majid et al.

  • History of inheritance of Wayang Topeng Malangan (Malang traditional mask puppet) in Pakisaji and Tumpang

    Abstract

    This study aims to explain the history and process of inheriting mask puppet art in two represent-ative hermitages (padepokan) (in Malang, namely Padepokan Asmoro Bangun in Pakisaji sub-district and Mangun Dharma in Tumpang sub-district). This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are done through interviews, observation, and study documents. The process of inheritance includes art practices such as dancing, puppeteering, playing musical instruments, and making masks and transferring knowledge about Wayang Topeng Malangan. Inheritance is generally done since offsprings (children/grandchildren) are still at an early age. The history of the inheritance of the traditional mask puppet art in Padepokan Asmoro Bangun has occurred for six generations of this family since before 1930 starting from the Serun period. The sixth Padepokan Asmoro Bangun Heirs are two daughters named Winnie Padnecwara (15 years old) and Dita Andhika Raja Padmi (12 years old) who learned this art since the age of four. Padepokan Mangun Dharma is the home of mask puppet art, as well as music, traditional dance, and theatre, macapat, puppetry, and shadow puppets. The history of the inheritance of this hermitage began with the great-grandfather of the puppeteer Soleh namely Kek Sainten (Grandpa Sainten). The current heir of Padepokan Mangun Dharma is the son of the puppeteer Soleh, Supriyono Hadi Prasetyo, who also learned puppetry both autodidact and formally through college. Although inheritance occurs vertically, which is hereditary in each hermitage, horizontal inheritance also occurs between the two. This indicates that the inheritance process of Padepokan Asmoro Bangun and Mangun Dharma are related to each other. © 2020, Universitas Negeri Semarang. All rights reserved.

    Abstract

    This research aimed to in-depth analysis and provide solutions about the processes and forms of online relationship marketing e-commerce Islamic fashion. This study used qualitative approach with case study method. Evidence or data for research purposes came from documents, archival records, interviews, direct observation, participant observation, and physical devices. Data validity test conducted through several tests which included credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability test. Relationship marketing cannot be purely online, synergies between online and offline activities are needed to be more effective. Community has become the power of relationship marketing for Islamic fashion e-commerce in Indonesia. Programs conducted by community marketing and special events with inspirational themes. Besides customers, relationships are also conducted with tenants and clients. Search and share through social media is a tool for customers to disseminate company campaigns. Innovation is an important part of power marketing. Friendvertising, the concept that showed communication between forms of online social communities is very relevant. More for less economy is a new rules of the game: using assets as efficient and effective as possible to produce optimal added value for customers. This research is the first study about creative innovation relationship marketing Islamic fashion e-commerce that has unique and different market target characteristics from other e-commerce. © 2019 Library Philosophy and Practice.
