BANDUNG, UNIKOM – As part of the selection process for the DPD RI Ambassador, held on October 2, 2025, a rigorous selection process successfully brought an inspiring figure from Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM). Febby Cipta, a student from the International Relations Study Program of UNIKOM, was officially awarded as the DPD RI Ambassador for West Java 2025 after going through various challenging selection stages.
The selection process for the DPD RI Ambassador began with the administration, followed by the creation of a profile video introducing the participants and their respective institutions. The participants then participated in the first interview session, which resulted in the selection of the top three finalists from West Java. The next stage included catwalk and posture assessments, and a second interview with the national DPD RI to determine the winner.
Febby expressed his gratitude for being selected as the DPD RI Ambassador 2025. “Alhamdulillah, the entire selection process went smoothly. The biggest challenge for me was the interview session in English.” He added that the experience was a valuable lesson for him to continue to grow.
Febby also shared his motivation for participating in the event. “Follow your dreams, never stop learning.” In this fast-paced era, we are not only competing with others but also with ourselves. There are only two choices: keep moving forward or stay in your comfort zone. Just do it,” he said.
Full support came from the International Relations Study Program and the university, which assisted in the publication of the introduction video through various UNIKOM social media platforms.
Ahead of the national competition which will be held on November 1, 2025, Febby expressed, “I came to win. Additionally, I want to use this experience to expand my network, deepen my advocacy in the field of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and bring honor to UNIKOM at the national and international levels,” he concluded.
This achievement is a source of pride for UNIKOM and is expected to motivate other students to continue striving for excellent achievements, developing themselves, and making positive contributions to society and the nation. (Directorate of Hms & Pro)
