    KPM UNIKOM Holds “Protocol Fun 2025”, Strengthening Solidarity through a Meaningful Gathering Night

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM — The Student Protocol Corps (KPM) of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) organized the Protocol Fun (Profun) 2025 activity as part of the Gathering Night (Makrab), which took place over two days, on December 11–12, 2025, at Villa Kastil – Istana Bunga, Lembang, Bandung Regency. The gathering night activity served as a strategic medium to strengthen solidarity and a sense of kinship among members within the organization. A total of 55 KPM members, consisting of KPM members from the 2023 and 2025 batches, participated in the activity.

    Profun 2025 carried the theme “One Night for a Light,” which was interpreted as one night of togetherness expected to become a light for the future journey of KPM UNIKOM, both in building cohesion, creativity, and organizational contributions to the institution. The activity was also designed as a warm and inclusive space for togetherness, as well as a means to build mutual trust, strengthen communication, and foster a spirit of collaboration among members.

    The leadership ranks along with the staff of the Directorate of Public Relations and Protocol of UNIKOM were also present at the activity, including the Director of Public Relations and Protocol of UNIKOM, Dr. Ir. Yuni Mogot, M.Si., CPR., the Head of the Protocol Division of UNIKOM as the KPM advisor, Agung Nugraha, S.I.Kom., the Head of the Public Relations and Public Communication Information Division, Arif Try Cahyadi, M.Ds., the Head of the Digital Marketing Division, Sri Pernia Warakmulty, M.Kom., the Secretariat of the Directorate of Public Relations and Protocol of UNIKOM, Merry Indriyati, S.E., as well as the Design Staff, Aldi Mohamad Akbar, S.Ds., and the Public Relations Staff of the Directorate of Public Relations and Protocol of UNIKOM, Devi Delviani Lestari, S.I.Kom. The gathering night became even more lively with the presence of alumni, including the Chairpersons of KPM UNIKOM for the 2014, 2019, 2020, and 2021 periods, who shared their experiences and motivation with the members. The presence of the leadership, advisors, and alumni represented full support for the development of character, solidarity, and professionalism of KPM UNIKOM members.

    The Chief Organizer of Profun 2025, Moch. Miftahul Ulum, stated in his report that Profun is an important agenda of KPM as a forum to strengthen relationships among members. He explained that the activity not only serves as a gathering event, but also as a momentum to create a more cohesive and harmonious organizational environment. He expressed his hope that through Profun 2025, each member would take home meaningful experiences, increasingly close relationships, and renewed motivation to remain active and contribute to KPM.

    The Director of Public Relations and Protocol of UNIKOM, Dr. Yuni, in her opening remarks emphasized that the Profun 2025 activity not only serves as a forum for strengthening relationships, but also as a valuable learning space for all KPM members. She expressed her hope that the togetherness built during the activity would strengthen organizational solidarity and become a source of motivation in carrying out protocol duties in the future. Faith in God is the key to success, where each individual will learn and understand the meaning of sincerity in carrying out their duties. According to her, the experiences gained from each activity are expected to build members’ spirit, discipline, and commitment to continuously demonstrate positive performance and achievements.

    Furthermore, Dr. Yuni expressed her appreciation for the roles of the advisors, mentors, alumni, and the entire organizing committee who had supported the successful implementation of Profun 2025. She emphasized that cross-generational support within KPM is an important strength in building a solid and sustainable organization. Concluding her remarks, she officially opened the series of Profun 2025 activities and expressed her hope that all agendas would run smoothly and provide tangible benefits for strengthening the character and professionalism of the Student Protocol Corps of UNIKOM.

    The series of activities of the Profun 2025 Gathering Night included a sharing session with alumni, interspersed with various forms of entertainment such as a fashion show, group performances, games, gift exchange, as well as a dinner and reflection that enlivened the gathering night. On the second day, the activities began with a group exercise session, followed by games and a joint prayer as the closing, before all participants returned to their respective activities.

    Through the Profun 2025 activity, KPM UNIKOM hopes to strengthen family bonds, foster a spirit of togetherness, and build a solid and sustainable organizational foundation in supporting protocol roles within the Universitas Komputer Indonesia. (Directorate of Hms & Pro)

    The Student Protocol Corps of Unikom Holds an Open Debate and Election for The 2025-2026 Leader and Vice Leader: Presenting Dynamic Ideas and Leadership

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM — On Friday, December 5, 2025, the Student Protocol Corps (KPM) of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) held a debate and election for the Leader and Vice Leader of KPM for the 2025–2026 term. Held at the Miracle Auditorium on UNIKOM Campus I, the event marked an important milestone in determining the direction of the organization’s leadership for the coming term.

    The series of activities began with a speech from the Leader of KPM for the 2024–2025 period, M. Pradipta Waskitha, who expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the enthusiasm of all members who continue to support and maintain the solidarity of the organization until the time came for the election of the new Leader for the 2025–2026 period.

    The Director of Public Relations and Protocol of UNIKOM, Dr. Ir. Yuni Mogot, M.Si., CPR., expressed her deepest appreciation and gratitude for the dedication and achievements of the KPM UNIKOM Ambarukmo Cabinet under the leadership of M. Pradipta Waskitha, along with the vice leader and other administrators. “I would like to congratulate the 43 new KPM members who have officially joined the UNIKOM Student Protocol Corps family.” Furthermore, Dr. Yuni emphasized that becoming a KPM member is not an easy process. Along the way, each member is required to not only have good academic abilities, but also be multitalented, adaptive, and have good character. She stated that “devotion to God Almighty is the main foundation, because with strong spiritual intelligence, a person is able to understand the meaning of sincerity in working and carrying out every task with full responsibility,” she concluded.

    In line with Dr. Yuni’s statement, the Head of the Protocol Division, Agung Nugraha, S.I.Kom., emphasized that the KPM Leader must have the ability to be responsive and alert in dealing with situations, considering that assignments at KPM are often given on an incidental basis. In addition to intelligence and agility in decision-making, a leader is also required to demonstrate responsible leadership and the ability to embrace all members so that they can work solidly.

    The debate session began with the presentation of the vision, mission, and work program by each candidate pair. The candidates consisted of three Leaders and Vice Leaders, including 1) Ghaitsa Amalia and Andhika Setya Utama; 2) Muflih Fadil Mahdi and Linda Nurul; and 3) Muhammad Faiz Arie Tito and Indira Nur Rahadian Putri. They presented their strategic plans, such as strengthening the organization’s image, improving protocol competencies, and internal and external program innovations.

    The candidates demonstrated their communication skills, organizational management, and sharpness in analyzing internal issues. The next session continued with a Q&A session led by the panelists, including the Director of Public Relations and Protocol of UNIKOM, Dr. Ir. Yuni Mogot, M.Si., CPR., Head of the Protocol Division, Agung Nugraha, S.I.Kom., and Head of the Ambarukmo Cabinet KPM, Muhammad Pradipta Waskitha. The questions asked regarding program effectiveness, member professionalism, and long-term work strategies encouraged the candidates to provide concrete and comprehensive answers. Until the end of the debate session, the candidates delivered closing statements as a form of commitment and an invitation to all members to make the best choice.

    The series of activities continued with the direct voting process, in which all members of the UNIKOM Public Relations and Protocol Directorate and 73 KPM members present cast their votes in the voting booths. The vote counting was conducted openly and democratically, witnessed directly by the candidates to ensure the objectivity, transparency, and credibility of the election results.

    The vote count showed that the candidates with the most votes were Ghaitsa Amalia and Andhika Setya Utama, who named their cabinet “Sarvajaya,” which means “Victory Together.”

    The elected Leader, Ghaitsa Amalia, expressed her gratitude for the trust given to her by all KPM members. She stated that this mandate is a great responsibility and an honor for her. “Of course, I feel very honored that my colleagues in the Student Protocol Corps have trusted me and given me this great mandate as the Leader of KPM UNIKOM for the 2025/2026 period. I hope that KPM UNIKOM will always be the best platform for developing the potential of its members, capable of producing professional successors, and continuing to help project a positive image for UNIKOM.” (Directorate of Hms & Pro)

    KPM UNIKOM Holds Visit & Sharing at Bandung City Hall to Strengthen Protocol Professionalism

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the Student Protocol Corps (KPM) of the Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) held a KPM Visit & Sharing event. Taking place at Bandung City Hall, the event served as a learning opportunity and a gathering between students and the Bandung City Government, particularly the Protocol and Leadership Communication (Prokopim) department.

    The Chief Executive, Indira Nur Rahadian Putri, expressed her appreciation in her report for the support of all parties involved in ensuring the success of the event. Furthermore, Muhammad Pradipta Waskitha, Chairman of KPM UNIKOM, emphasized that the event was a real form of KPM’s commitment to improving the capacity and professionalism of its members, particularly in the field of protocol.

    The Director of Public Relations and Protocol of UNIKOM, Dr. Ir. Yuni Mogot, M.Si., CPR., also gave a speech encouraging students to continue honing their communication, coordination, and protocol ethics skills, which are important assets in the world of work. “Through this activity, I hope that KPM UNIKOM members can learn directly from government practitioners, so that they can better understand the standards of professionalism in protocol. KPM is not merely a complement to campus activities, but also a platform for character building in terms of discipline, responsibility, and adaptive skills that will be highly beneficial when entering society or the workforce,” she concluded.

    A representative from the Bandung City Government, Budi Rahmat Taufik, AP., M.M., acting as Head of the Protocol and Communication Division of the Bandung City Leadership, also gave a warm welcome and expressed his hope that the visit would provide students with the knowledge they need to implement what they have learned.

    The series of activities then continued with a material presentation and sharing session with Prokopim Kota Bandung, Fredi Handoko, S.I.K. In this session, the participants gained in-depth insight into protocol management and the strategic role of leadership communication in regional government administration. The results can be used as a supplement and implemented in various protocol activities on campus while building a professional and integrity-based character in line with UNIKOM’s culture, namely PIQIE (Professionalism, Integrity, Quality, IT, Excellence).

    The activity concluded with a documentation session and a tour of Bandung City Hall, guided directly by the Protocol and Public Relations Office, providing participants with a valuable experience to get to know the government work environment more closely. Through this activity, it is hoped that UNIKOM’s Protocol and Public Relations Office will be better prepared to serve as the forefront in supporting protocol activities within UNIKOM, while expanding networks and enriching practical knowledge in the field of protocol.
