    Abstract

This study explores how to improve the productivity of hydroponic leafy vegetables by balancing Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and nutrient solution pH. Using bok choy in a floating raft system, the research applies a controlled experimental design to observe how these parameters interact in supporting vegetative growth and yield. Daily monitoring and careful adjustment of nutrient levels and pH are emphasized to ensure optimal nutrient uptake. Balanced TDS and pH conditions enhanced leaf formation and biomass accumulation, while imbalances caused nutrient stress and growth inhibition. This study offers practical guidance for growers to synchronize TDS and pH in real-time for improved nutrient management. The findings contribute to precision hydroponics aligned with sustainable agriculture, specifically supporting sustainable development goals (SDGs) for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) through efficient food production and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by encouraging optimal use of agricultural inputs. © 2026 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.

Geographic Information System (GIS) Application to Identify the Distribution of Tourist Attractions and Supporting Facilities Related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

    Authors: Lia Warlina, Afredi A.

    DOI: 10.17509/ijost.v11i2.89803

    Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the distribution patterns of tourism attractions, hotels, and restaurants, and to explore their implications for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Lembang District. To analyze these distributions, a quantitative approach was applied using nearest neighbor analysis and Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques. A total of 38 tourism attractions were identified, including 17 natural attractions, 17 artificial attractions, and four cultural attractions; all exhibiting dispersed distribution patterns. There are 32 hotels with random distribution patterns and 178 restaurants that are clustered. Natural attractions are characterized by hilly terrain, forests, valleys, and rivers, which result in physical separation between some sites. In contrast, artificial and cultural attractions tend to be concentrated in more accessible areas, particularly along main routes. Notably, villages such as Cikahuripan, Cikidang, Mekarwangi, Suntenjaya, Wangunharja, and Wangunsari contain tourism attractions but lack adequate supporting facilities, including hotels and restaurants. The spatial allocation of tourism attractions, accommodations, and restaurants significantly influences the achievement of the SDGs. Tourism contributes to 14 of the 17 SDGs, especially SDG 8 (promoting economic opportunities), SDG 1 (reducing poverty), and SDG 5 (advancing gender equality). © 2026 Tim Pengembang Jurnal UPI.

    Abstract

E-Planning is an application used to help formulate policies in preparing internet-based regional development planning documents. Minister of Internal Affairs Regulation No. 90/2019 concerning the Regional Government Information System (SIPD) has obliged City/Regency governments throughout Indonesia to implement SIPD gradually starting in 2021 using an application developed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, namely SIPD with the web address https://sipd.kemendagri.go.id. The SIPD e-Planning application that was built and developed contains e-Database, e-Planning, eMonev, and e-Reporting to build a more effective, efficient, lawabiding relationship between central and local governance, accelerating bureaucratic reform to strengthen regional autonomy. For the needs of evaluation and application development, it is necessary to conduct research on the user experience of the SIPD e-Planning application. The SIPD ePlanning application was introduced to the Regional Government in conjunction with the emergence of the COVID19 pandemic, which began in early 2020. Therefore, it is also necessary to examine how the SIPD e-Planning application services during the pandemic. This study aims to evaluate the user experience of the SIPD e-Planning application in Luwu Regency and Gowa Regency, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research was conducted using the meCUE Questionnaire method and interviews with application users. An evaluation of the user experience of the SIPD e-Planning application shows that the SIPD e-Planning application is handy and very appropriate for use in achieving e-Planning goals. The SIPD e-Planning application is easy to use and has a userfriendly interface. Development planning during the COVID-19 pandemic was very effective using the SIPD e-Planning application because it can be accessed online so that it is not affected by changes in work schedules caused by work from home (WFH) policies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
