    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is the development of 3-D Maps in the Government Complex of Bandung Regency to facilitate the people in Bandung Regency to find the location of official offices related to administrative needs. The research method used was qualitative and quantitative methods and there are several stages carried out in this study consisting of 4 stages. The first stage is data collection and analysis, software development, system testing and the last stage is drawing conclusions. The application built models the agency office and environment in 3D. The application built also has the closest route search feature using the Dijkstra algorithm. The results of this study are that the system also provides information relating to the agency office. Based on the results of user acceptance tests conducted on residents, more than 70% of the population agree that this 3D map makes it easy for residents to find the location of a building and determine the closest distance to that location. With this 3D Map, residents no longer need to worry if they get lost in the complex area of the Bandung Regency Government and can also quickly find the location of an official service office. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    Warehouse Management Information System or WMIS primarily aims to control the movement and storage of materials in the warehouse and process related transactions, including sending, receiving, storing, and taking. This research has the objective to analyze the running system and design a warehouse management information system in Zaeni Convection. The development methodology used is Rapid Application Development with an object-oriented approach. While the tools used in design are UML (Unified Modeling Language). Problems in the Zaeni Convection are; there is no automatic calculation of raw materials, the process is not yet maximized to regulate the entry and exit of goods, there are no reports on inventory and expenditure of goods, and there is no computerized data storage. In designing a warehouse management information system, there are four actors involved namely Owner, Warehouse Section, Production Manager and Supplier. There are four function that are described, including: Ordering of Raw Materials, Purchase Orders, Production, and Management of Finished Goods.     Abstract

    This study aims to show the use of a web-based online inventory system to maximize human performance in the work process in companies. This study used descriptive method by reading related literatures. From this research, show about web-based online inventory system is an innovation in facilitating the management of goods, helping to make complicated things easier, this is good news for large companies in running their businesses, no wonder many companies are using online inventory systems to help work.     Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to design a virtual educational simulation device as a training aid for the Programmable Logic Controller. This software is equipped with an extensive library of process models to mimic the functional behavior of real factory processes, thus helping students to practice controlling various industrial processes by using various tools from PLC. The advantage of this simulator is that it provides analytical tools to get concise information about the output performance of the controlled system. The method used in this research is the Descriptive Analysis Method which consists of five stages, namely problem identification, literature study, instrument design, implementation, and testing and evaluation. The implementation of this software is based on LabVIEW (Laboratory Laboratory Workbench) on the PC. Exchange of control signals between the actual PLC (any PLC can be used) and the PC via the signal conditioning circuit and the Arduino. The results of this study are that three factory models have been made. The first factory model is a traffic light control system of two adjacent intersections. The second factory model is water level control in the tank. The third factory model is a multi elevator control system. The analysis tools for the first plant is information about the total waiting time of all vehicles passing through the intersection. The analysis tools for the second plant is a system performance graph that is equipped with maximum overshoot, settling time, and steady state error information. The analysis tools for the third plant is the total average floor displacement time of all elevator users. Therefore, this research has succeeded in making a virtual education simulation which, consists of three plant simulations and their analysis tools. The impact of this research is expected to increase students’ understanding of PLC and control techniques. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The architect is needed something to explain their product result from each stage of the design process. The tool is something that is used by the architect in explaining their product result with a 3D presentation. The purpose of this study is to describe how influencing and important of 3D Presentation (such as the animation) with the architectural works for architects. The software that was used for the visualization is the lumion, which is often used by professional architects. The method of this research used the interview and questionnaires with some architects. Based on the result, the animation can make easier for the architect to explain and elaborate their concepts to the others as well as their Client.     Abstract

    This research aims to create applications that can facilitate in conducting absences this is done to see the liveliness on the santri (a student who schools at Islamic boarding school) in the Koran as well as facilitate reporting on the offer in the form of software that can be open in Smartphone. The methods used in developing this application was observation. The results of this research are a system used to take attendance absences in each session a lesson in a payroll activity.     Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to analyze and determine the level of effectiveness and efficiency of digital wallets as a medium for transactions. Digital wallets bring the concept of cashless society. This study used descriptive qualitative research method by doing literature study of various research and handing out questionnaires. The results of this study indicated that digital wallet users are increasing overtime. The number of smartphone users is one of the various aspects triggering the increasing use of digital wallets. However, using a digital wallet certainly has advantages and disadvantages. Based on the results, the use of digital wallets will continue to increase, with the development of internet-based electronic systems that are increasingly sophisticated every year. Therefore, it is possible for countries to switch from conventional financial transaction activities into electronic financial transactions. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    This study is conducted to discover the impact and the use of electronic wallet (e-wallet) by students especially in online transportation service. This research used a comparative approach by comparing online transportation service users with conventional transportation service and the literature analysis method, interviews, and written surveys involving students in Bandung as respondents. The results of this study showed that students who used electronic wallets to pay for online transportation service were more able to control their expenses efficiently compare to students who use conventional transportation service and use conventional payment methods as well. Especially for students, using an electronic wallet in online transportation services is very helpful in the payment process. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    This study aims to build an integrated information system at the Curup Timur Health Center. Curup Timur Health Center does not yet have a Blueprint for designing integrated information systems. The method used to design architectural designs is based on the study of the TOGAF ADM literature. The steps applied in this design are the TOGAF ADM, including Preparation, Vision Architecture, Business Architecture, Information Systems Architecture, and Technology Architecture. This research produces a blueprint that will be used to support integrated business processes. The output from this stage will produce a company architecture that can later be used by organizations to support business processes and achieve their strategic goals. The conclusion of this study is that the company’s architecture design using TOGAF ADM can be used at the Curup Timur Health Center in accordance with the documents and processes that are running and can produce a blueprint of the company’s architecture at the east Curup Health Center which will improve overall health center services. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    This study aims to help irrigate agricultural land using technology. This writing used descriptive method by analyzing the use of an irrigation system, which makes it easier for agricultural landowners in the irrigation process of the land. The results of this paper are building technology irrgation is suitable for irrigation needs of an agricultural land. After getting a survey directly from the location of the study and interviewing several local farmers, with the existence of irrigation channels and water structures, the water needs of a land can be easily fulfilled. The income from the land is increasing little by little, so that land owners have no more trouble getting water to meet their land needs. Therefore, it can be concluded that using this system technology can help design the flow of water on irrigation channels that function to irrigate agricultural land to meet their needs.
