In an interview, Director of Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru (PMB), New Student Admissions, Yudistira Soegoto, S.Kom., M.Kom., explained that the use of technology has been applied not only in the learning process but also in the campus service system. Starting from a fully online, transparent, and accountable new student registration system to smart classroom support that allows lectures to take place both offline and online simultaneously without space and time limitations.
One of UNIKOM’s strategic advantages is the implementation of compulsory courses that have been applied in all study programs, including Diploma, Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral levels. This policy complements the four compulsory courses, namely software, hardware, entrepreneurship, and animation, which have always been the distinguishing features of UNIKOM compared to other universities.
Beyond the curriculum, UNIKOM is also one of the campuses that supports AI-based technology, as reflected in the development of an AI laboratory and a user-friendly, inclusive campus digital system that supports accessibility for all students. This innovation reaffirms UNIKOM’s commitment to providing an adaptive, inclusive, and service-oriented higher education ecosystem.
UNIKOM’s excellence in technology is further strengthened by its track record of international achievements, particularly in the field of information technology and computer networks. UNIKOM has won various global awards, including achievements in the Asian IT Network System competition.
