    Abstract:

To boost the development of a regional agricultural sector, a wider scope of superior commodities can be used. It certainly would contribute a lot to regional and national economic sustainability. Therefore, the stakeholders need to formulate an effective and efficient marketing strategy to balance the supply and demand of agricultural products and improve farmers’ welfare. Marketing strategies in each country were differently influenced by several factors ranging from geography, politics, and people’s consumption patterns. This study compares the marketing strategies for leading agricultural commodities in Indonesia and Uzbekistan to obtain a new formula for marketing agricultural products. Uzbekistan is considered one of the countries in Central Asia that has a lot in common with Indonesia, especially in the agricultural sector, and vice versa. This study aims to develop a marketing strategy for enhanced regional commodities and see how significant the economic contribution of the Garut region is on a national scale. The Literature review is used as a research method. We also conducted a case study and field survey in the Garut region, one of the agriculture centers in Indonesia. The results also indicate that a marketing strategy can boost the economy of a specific area. It can be useful for local governments and business entities when developing effective strategies to deal with the national economy and for monitoring of farmer effectiveness. © 2022, Institute of Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Abstract
This study explores how to improve the productivity of hydroponic leafy vegetables by balancing Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) and nutrient solution pH. Using bok choy in a floating raft system, the research applies a controlled experimental design to observe how these parameters interact in supporting vegetative growth and yield. Daily monitoring and careful adjustment of nutrient levels and pH are emphasized to ensure optimal nutrient uptake. Balanced TDS and pH conditions enhanced leaf formation and biomass accumulation, while imbalances caused nutrient stress and growth inhibition. This study offers practical guidance for growers to synchronize TDS and pH in real-time for improved nutrient management. The findings contribute to precision hydroponics aligned with sustainable agriculture, specifically supporting sustainable development goals (SDGs) for SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) through efficient food production and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production) by encouraging optimal use of agricultural inputs. © 2026 Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.

    Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relation between hard skill and soft skill competencies of Japanese language graduates on four different types of job including managers, administrators, communicators, and instructors. This research was conducted through a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 100 alumni of Japanese department from five universities in Bandung, namely Universitas Padjadjaran, STBA Yapari ABA Bandung, Universitas Kristen Maranatha, Universitas Nasional PASIM, and Universitas Komputer Indonesia. The results showed that the ability of hard skills and soft skills of Japanese department graduates is considered relevant to the needs of the world of work where graduates, especially with the type of work communicators tend to have higher hard skills and soft skills compared to other types of work. Hard skills and soft skills have a very close and inseparable relationship because the two are complementary and balance each other. The ability of hard skills for all four types of work is considered good, but the skills in applying information and communication technology have not fully supported the other skills in hard skills. The ability of soft skills in the four types of work is considered to be good because each domain of soft skills has gone hand in hand with one another in forming integrated soft skills. Japanese departments need to continuously strengthen hard skills and soft skills. This aims to enable graduates to compete in the global market. © 2019 The authors and IJLTER.ORG. DOI: 10.22304/pjih.v7n2.a3

    Abstract:

Article 1 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution mandates that Indonesia is a state by rule of law. Therefore, in carrying out the life of the people and of the nation, it must be in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations. The current presence and development of Covid-19 pandemic has resulted changes in political, economic, social, and cultural sectors. Paying attention to these developments, the Indonesian Government has issued various policies. The focuses of the policies are intended to manage the Covid-19 spread. The policies, among others, include social assistance programs during the Covid-19 pandemic, which has a significant potential corruption. The corruption may happen in the forms of embezzlement of aid funds, budgets transfer, incompliance of requirement assistances, etc. This study aims to determine aspects of the new normal law and the corruption eradication in Indonesia based on normative juridical research methods. The approach looks, analyzes, and interprets theoretical aspects concerning legal principles in the form of conceptions, laws and regulations, views, legal doctrines, and related legal systems. This study is of the opinion that the corruption eradication (prevention and enforcement) in Indonesia during the Covid-19 pandemic and the application of the new normal are necessary to reform criminal law. The reform can be reconstruction and reformulation of existing laws regarding sanctions applied to perpetrators of corruption to restore state finances with accountability up to the third degree, or impoverishment of corruptors. © 2020, Padjadjaran University. Hardiyana B. ; Wibawa J.C.

    DOI: 10.1088/1757-899X/662/2/022103

    Abstract

The implementation of social welfare development programs in developing countries is generally focused on the empowerment program of the poor, which is more nuanced in a participatory approach involving the community, business and government. empowerment is considered appropriate to be one of the policy choices in the development of social welfare today. The development of social welfare based on the principle of empowerment is intended that in the handling of the poor it must be done through increasing the capacity of human resources to increase independence (Law Number 13 of 2011). Regional development has an impact on national development. Poverty reduction policies realized through community empowerment programs have become the main agenda and priori development in Baleendah Subdistrict, especially Rancamanyar Village. One of the poverty alleviation programs through community empowerment carried out in Rancamanyar Village is the Housing Assistance Program for uninhabitable houses. Various local government efforts to reduce the number of uninhabitable houses are still considered uneven. With the limited management and processing of survey data in the regions, it is one of the factors that do not help the existing policies. With the construction of a geographic information system for uninhabitable homes, one of the efforts that must be taken by the local government in order to support and assist in making decisions for uninhabitable houses is to conduct geographical analysis and mapping of uninhabitable houses in Rancamanyar Village, so that help is not wrong target. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

  • Towards Smart Society: A Study on Multi-Channel and Public Participation-Based System Architecture for Civil Registration and Population Data in Indonesia

Yusrila Kerlooza ; Ageng Setiawan ;  Rudy Asrianto

    DOI: 10.1109/ICTSS.2018.8549956

    Abstract

Current procedure for updating the civil registration and population data in Indonesia has weaknesses that need improvements. One of them is the only written reporting procedure, submitted personally by the person in need to the civil registry officer. With this procedure, the accuracy of the data contained in the database SIAK (Sistem Informasi dan Administrasi Kependudukan-Population Administration and Information System) is very dependent on public awareness. This paper discusses a literature study of current government regulations and prior researches in the field of civil registration and population data updating procedure. It also proposes a new SIAK data updating procedure involving active public participation that can be done through a multi-channel telecommunications architecture. The architecture is designed as a complement to the official data updating procedure. This paper also reveals a number of important technical aspects that arise and should be considered in the new procedure. © 2018 IEEE.

The Arrangement of the Information Technology and Communications Master Plan using PeGI Model (e-Governance Ranking Indonesia) to Improve District Government Services

    Afrizal Y.

    DOI: 10.1088/1757-899X/407/1/012141

    Abstract

Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) within the scope of government is one important aspect that needs to be developed. Implementation of ICT applications is expected to facilitate various activities quickly, precisely and accurately with the aim of improving productivity so that the quality of government performance can increase in service to the public and internal government. Many district governments in Indonesia have no reference in strategic planning in the context of ICT, so stakeholders find it difficult for decision-makers in ICT development. The impact of this problem also affects the level of implementation of the regional work units in the region area. It, therefore, has no guidelines for developing and utilizing ICT properly and appropriately. Master plan of information and communication technology for local government is a product of scientific research with PeGI model (ranking of e-government Indonesia) as measurement model of e-government system. Model PeGI takes measures on 5 (five) dimensions of the e-Government system: policy, institutional, infrastructure, application, and planning. The final outcome of the measurement will be used as a recommendation and policy in preparing the ICT master plan to support local government processes and management work. The Master plan of Information and Communication Technology is expected to realize district governance system that is able to bridge the various needs of ICT implementation in agency. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
