    BANDUNG, UNIKOM — Being part of a significant moment in the state agenda is a proud experience for a student of Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM). Febby Cipta, an International Relations student at UNIKOM’s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences and the 2025 Regional Representative Council (DPD) Ambassador for West Java Province, had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Annual Session of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representative Council. Attending as an invited guest, the event was held on August 14, 2026, at the Indonesian Parliament Complex in Senayan, Jakarta.

    Febby’s attendance was part of the broader involvement of DPD RI Ambassadors from several provinces in this significant state occasion. Alongside the Ambassador for West Java Province, DPD RI Ambassadors from the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, East Java, South Sumatra, Lampung, Aceh, Central Sulawesi, and West Sulawesi were also in attendance. During the event, Febby directly observed the series of state agendas attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto,  the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Gibran Rakabuming Raka, leaders and members of the MPR, DPR, and DPD, ministerial cabinet members, heads of state institutions, as well as ambassadors and representatives from friendly nations.

    In 2026, the DPD RI served as the host for the DPR-DPD RI Joint Session under the leadership of the Chairman of the DPD RI, Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin. The series of state agendas included the MPR RI Annual Session, the DPR-DPD RI Joint Session, and the Plenary Session of the DPR RI. The agenda also featured speeches by the heads of state institutions and the State of the Nation Address by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, commemorating the 81st Independence day of Indonesia

    Beyond attending the sessions, Febby and the other DPD RI Ambassadors had the opportunity to hold discussions with the Head of the Second Session Bureau of the DPD RI, Untung Putra Jaya. The meeting served as a forum to exchange views regarding the programming and developmental role of DPD RI Ambassadors, particularly focusing on strengthening the youth’s contribution as representatives of the DPD RI and expanding the impact of various regional programs.

    For Febby, this opportunity proved to be a highly valuable experience, both in fulfilling the duties of a DPD RI Ambassador for West Java Province and as an International Relations student at UNIKOM. This involvement provided a direct vantage point to witness the dynamics of Indonesia’s state administration within a strategic forum that brought together elements of the government, state institutions, and international representatives.

    The experience simultaneously served as an educational platform for Febby to broaden perspectives on the constitutional system, diplomacy, and the roles of state institutions in executing their constitutional functions. This aligns perfectly with the expected competencies of International Relations students, who are required to not only comprehend global dynamics but also possess a firm grasp of national contexts and governmental administration.

    Febby’s presence at this state event further highlights the array of experiences and achievements garnered by UNIKOM students across various avenues of personal development. The title of ambassador serves not only as an acknowledgment of youth capacity but also as a platform to cultivate ideas, build networks, and deliver impactful contributions to society and the nation.

    Through this experience, it is hoped that Febby will continue to embody the spirit of a youth generation that is critical, adaptive, collaborative, and dedicated to making a contribution, while simultaneously standing as a representative of UNIKOM students who are fully capable of taking on roles in various strategic arenas at both the regional and national levels.  (Directorate of Hms & Pro) Translated by: Gengri

    Unikom International Relations Students To Represent Indonesia At The 2026 International Green Youth Leaders Summit, Promoting An Ai-Based Curriculum To Support Sustainable Education

    BANDUNG, UNIKOM – Students from the Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) have once again achieved a proud accomplishment on the international stage. Febby Cipta, a 4th-semester student in the International Relations program at UNIKOM’s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), has been selected to represent Indonesia as a delegate at the International Green Youth Leaders Summit (IGYLS) on July 8–9, 2026, held at Nusantara V Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, and at the Green Open Space & Bale Panjang, Museum Indonesia, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).

    This international forum, organized by the Green Democracy Institute under the guidance of Dr. (H.C.) Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, Chair of the Regional Representatives Council of the Republic of Indonesia (DPD RI), brought together 143 young delegates from various countries, including Indonesia, Taiwan, Madagascar, Timor-Leste, The Gambia, China, Japan, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Thailand, and Zimbabwe. The event served as a collaborative space for the world’s youth to formulate innovative solutions in support of the sustainable development agenda through leadership, innovation, and cross-border cooperation.

    At the forum, Febby attended not only as a member of the Indonesian delegation but also as a DPD RI envoy entrusted with the role of Chair of the National Advocacy Division. During the event, she presented a proposal titled “Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Based Curriculum: Utilizing Artificial Intelligence to Design Adaptive Learning Modules to Address Learning Loss for Students in Frontier, Outermost, and Underdeveloped Regions.” This concept highlights the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in designing adaptive learning curricula to address learning loss, particularly for students in frontier, outermost, and underdeveloped regions (3T). Through this approach, AI is expected to deliver a more personalized, inclusive, and equitable learning system, thereby improving the quality of education while supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education.

    For Febby, this innovation aligns with the advocacy movement she has been spearheading through #CiptakanSustainability a movement focused on improving human capital through quality and sustainable education. “Education is the cornerstone of sustainable development. Artificial Intelligence should not only be viewed as a technological innovation but also as a tool to expand access to quality education, especially for communities that have long faced limitations. Through #CiptakanSustainability, I want to demonstrate that sustainability begins with investing in human capital,” said Febby Cipta.

    In addition to presenting her ideas, Febby also had the opportunity to discuss and exchange views with a number of national and international figures concerned with environmental issues, education, and sustainable development. Among them were Dr. (H.C.) Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin, Chair of the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) of the Republic of Indonesia; Mohammad Jumhur Hidayat, Minister of the Environment of the Republic of Indonesia; Prof. Dr. Ir. Rachmat Pambudy, Minister of National Development Planning/Head of Bappenas; Dr. Joko Tri Haryanto, President Director of the Environmental Fund Management Agency (BPDLH); Maki Katsuno Hayashikawa, UNESCO Representative to Indonesia; Barlev Nico Marheine, Program Management Officer at UNEP; Nico Barito, Special Envoy of the President of the Seychelles to ASEAN; Jerhemy Owen, an environmental influencer; Victoria Kosasih, Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan and Miss International Indonesia 2026; and Nadla Sofia Habibie, Executive Director of the Habibie & Ainun Foundation.

    Through this series of discussions, the delegates were encouraged to understand the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration in addressing various global challenges. Synergy among the government, academia, international organizations, the business community, and the younger generation is considered key to achieving sustainable development that benefits society.

    Febby’s participation in the 2026 International Green Youth Leaders Summit serves as tangible evidence of UNIKOM students’ contributions to international forums through youth diplomacy and the development of innovative, technology-based solutions to address various global challenges and it can motivate other UNIKOM students to achieve success both nationally and internationally. This achievement also reflects UNIKOM’s commitment as a Digital Entrepreneurial University to fostering a young generation that is globally competitive, adaptable to technological advancements, and capable of delivering innovations that benefit society.

    More than just participating in an international forum, this experience serves as a strategic step for Febby to expand her global collaboration network while strengthening her commitment to advancing the #CiptakanSustainability movement. Through this movement, she hopes that more young people will become actively involved in driving educational transformation, the responsible use of technology, and accelerating the achievement of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), starting from Indonesia and extending to the global level.
