    Abstract

    The purpose of this research is to develop a sale accounting information system in the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa Satia), especially sales which are source of income. Financial reporting standards use Indonesian Accounting Standards for Entities without Public Accountability (ETAP). This study used a descriptive qualitative study approach and method for developing sales accounting information systems in the Village Owned Enterprise using the Accelerated SAP (ASAP) approach. The results of this research in the development of accounting information systems using odoo accounting. Before implementing ERP using ODOO Accounting can make a blueprint for sales accounting information systems in the Village-Owned Company, which can be simplified by arranging the Odoo Module customization, to create financial reports. Developing a sales accounting information system is expected to help BUMI Satia Village in making transactions and making decisions. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    The implementation of social welfare development programs in developing countries is generally focused on the empowerment program of the poor, which is more nuanced in a participatory approach involving the community, business and government. empowerment is considered appropriate to be one of the policy choices in the development of social welfare today. The development of social welfare based on the principle of empowerment is intended that in the handling of the poor it must be done through increasing the capacity of human resources to increase independence (Law Number 13 of 2011). Regional development has an impact on national development. Poverty reduction policies realized through community empowerment programs have become the main agenda and priori development in Baleendah Subdistrict, especially Rancamanyar Village. One of the poverty alleviation programs through community empowerment carried out in Rancamanyar Village is the Housing Assistance Program for uninhabitable houses. Various local government efforts to reduce the number of uninhabitable houses are still considered uneven. With the limited management and processing of survey data in the regions, it is one of the factors that do not help the existing policies. With the construction of a geographic information system for uninhabitable homes, one of the efforts that must be taken by the local government in order to support and assist in making decisions for uninhabitable houses is to conduct geographical analysis and mapping of uninhabitable houses in Rancamanyar Village, so that help is not wrong target. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

  • Towards Smart Society: A Study on Multi-Channel and Public Participation-Based System Architecture for Civil Registration and Population Data in Indonesia

    Abstract

    Current procedure for updating the civil registration and population data in Indonesia has weaknesses that need improvements. One of them is the only written reporting procedure, submitted personally by the person in need to the civil registry officer. With this procedure, the accuracy of the data contained in the database SIAK (Sistem Informasi dan Administrasi Kependudukan-Population Administration and Information System) is very dependent on public awareness. This paper discusses a literature study of current government regulations and prior researches in the field of civil registration and population data updating procedure. It also proposes a new SIAK data updating procedure involving active public participation that can be done through a multi-channel telecommunications architecture. The architecture is designed as a complement to the official data updating procedure. This paper also reveals a number of important technical aspects that arise and should be considered in the new procedure. © 2018 IEEE.

    Abstract

    Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) within the scope of government is one important aspect that needs to be developed. Implementation of ICT applications is expected to facilitate various activities quickly, precisely and accurately with the aim of improving productivity so that the quality of government performance can increase in service to the public and internal government. Many district governments in Indonesia have no reference in strategic planning in the context of ICT, so stakeholders find it difficult for decision-makers in ICT development. The impact of this problem also affects the level of implementation of the regional work units in the region area. It, therefore, has no guidelines for developing and utilizing ICT properly and appropriately. Master plan of information and communication technology for local government is a product of scientific research with PeGI model (ranking of e-government Indonesia) as measurement model of e-government system. Model PeGI takes measures on 5 (five) dimensions of the e-Government system: policy, institutional, infrastructure, application, and planning. The final outcome of the measurement will be used as a recommendation and policy in preparing the ICT master plan to support local government processes and management work. The Master plan of Information and Communication Technology is expected to realize district governance system that is able to bridge the various needs of ICT implementation in agency. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    There are still many Indonesian Migrant Workers, or commonly reffered to as Tenaga Kerja Indonesia (TKI), who are involved in criMinality whether as the victim or under criMinal prosecution while working abroad. This indicates that the involvement of stakeholders including the government in protecting TKI has not yet been maximized. The existing efforts only focus on law and regulation and lack in quick and proper response. These issues can ideally be Minimized if there is a form of continuous communication between migrant workers and the stakeholders during TKI placement. This research focus on analyzing the requirements to develop TKI protection information system. The requirements are obtained through SWOT analysis. The results show that TKI need to make regular reports through the information system. System then monitors TKI condition overtime to assess their situations and notifies government and/or other stakeholders if any response needs to be taken. Through this information system analysis, the model for TKI monitoring information system that connects every stakeholders is developed. It is expected that this work would provide government a model for information system to assist TKI work safely and comfortably. TKI will have confident that they are with caring government. Therefore various issues that occur can be dealt seriously, quickly, and appropriately. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

    Abstract

    Hoax, another opponent that also appeared during the pandemic. Not only as a “Black Swan” that has negative impact on human life, this pandemic has also forced countries around the world to provide quality public service innovations, and Indonesia is no exception. This research was conducted to examine Utilization of mobile application as a communication strategy from the government in providing information services related to Covid- 19 to the public. Because public must get information about Covid-19 that comes from the right and trusted sources. Descriptive study was chosen as the appropriate research methodology, to examine PIKOBAR (Pusat Informasi dan Koordinasi Covid-19 Jawa Barat), mobile application used by the West Java Provincial Government. The results of this research indicated that PIKOBAR provides the update of the number of exposed cases and deaths due to Covid-19, the list of important numbers or emergency calls within the scope of West Java Province, the map of the spread of Covid-19in 27 Regencies/Cities in West Java Province, videos and infographics that are easy to understand. This mobile application is considered capable in responding to the challenges of the need for correct, precise, and reliable information, fulfilling the demands of innovation in improving the quality of public information services. But it has not been fully achieved because there are still Bandung City residents who have not used this mobile application. This research is expected to have implications for government both regional and national to always try to provide public service innovations. © 2025 Author(s).

    Abstract:

    Several countries have stopped community restriction program activities in dealing with COVID-19, including in Indonesia which has stopped a similar program at the end of 2022. Each country is starting a new era, namely the COVID-19 prevention program, but not all countries have accurate data regarding the type symptoms that could be indicators of prevention. This inaccuracy will be overcome using the behavior of the Kalman Filter while the presumption that influenza symptoms can be use to approach the COVID-19 symptoms. Various Kalman Filter models will be tried which represent the level of concern for prevention, which we call the COVID-19 Pandemic Precaution Level (PCP). The data for this study were obtained from a number of symptoms encountered that resemble the symptoms of COVID-19 after 2022. And provide the results of several Kalman Filter models for normal worries and extreme worries. © 2023 IEEE.

    Abstract

    One way to prevent and reduce the spread of the covid-19 pandemic is through physical distancing program. This research aims to develop a prototype contactless transaction system using digital payment mechanisms and QR code technology that will be applied in traditional markets. The method used in the development of electronic market systems is a prototype approach. The application of QR code and digital payments are used as a solution to minimize money exchange contacts that are common in traditional markets. The results showed that the system built was able to accelerate and facilitate the buying and selling transaction process in traditional market environment. Alpha testing shows that all functional systems are running well. Meanwhile, beta testing shows that the user can very well accept the system that was built. The results of the study also show acceptance of the usefulness of the system being built, as well as the optimism of its users to be able to take advantage of this system both technologically and functionally, so its can be a part of the digital transformation of the traditional market to the electronic market and has become one of the solutions in reducing the spread of the current covid-19 pandemic. © 2021, Institute of Advanced Engineering and Science.     Driving Safety Application Using Wearable Device and Mobile Technology

    Abstract

    This research is conducted to help motorbike riders in avoiding accidents caused by drowsiness. The wearable device technology used was smartband and accelerometer from Android smartphone. It was used to obtain heart rate data and detect drowsiness experienced by motorbike riders. An accelerometer was used to detect if an accident occurs and send the information to the driver’s family. The method in this research was quantitative research and development. The results obtained showed that detecting drowsiness is equal to 80% and the accident detection test gets an accuracy of 100%. The accuracy of drowsiness detection during the day is 75% and testing that carried out at night has an accuracy rate of 90%. Functional suitability test results obtained a value of 100%, compatibility aspects have 100%, usability aspects of 84.7%, and performance aspects in terms of response time are in the range of satisfaction equal to 3.88 seconds. The tests conducted using Likert scale showed that the application is feasible to use, and the driving safety application has reached its desired purpose. This research impacts on driving safety that must prioritize safety both for self and for others. © School of Engineering, Taylor’s University.

    Abstract

    A long-range and short-range navigation systems of an autonomous vehicle are the most important thing to develop because it is very complex and related to safety in the driving of an automatic vehicle. The purpose of this research is to develop a short-range navigation system for autonomous vehicles focused to detect and avoid humans which implemented on an autonomous vehicle prototype. Image Processing and deep learning algorithm used for human detection and ultrasonic sensor used for distance calculation. Decision making for human avoidance system using the Fuzzy algorithm based on the position of detected human and human distance. The implemented system has a success rate of 85.71% to avoid human which ideal distance more than 2 meters. The implemented prototype of an autonomous vehicle can be implemented in the real vehicle with some adjustments in the sensor and hardware system, however, the systems are expected to reduce traffic accidents caused by human error. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
