BANDUNG, UNIKOM – Thursday, September 18, 2025, Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) collaborated with the Directorate of Learning and Student Affairs (Belmawa) to hold a Technical Guidance (Bimtek) activity, which is a Compulsory Curriculum Course (MKWK) for 2025. The event was held at the Auditorium on the 17th floor of the UNIKOM Smart Building. This activity was a collaboration between the Belmawa Directorate and UNIKOM, in support of the Dikti Saintek Berdampak program while strengthening curriculum and learning development in vocational higher education.
The Bimtek, which was attended by vocational colleges in the LLDIKTI IV region, carried the theme “Curriculum and Learning Development in Vocational Higher Education that Applies the Link and Match Curriculum with DUDIKA”. The agenda lasted a full day and involved vocational higher education experts, including Ludfi Djajanto, Desutama Rachmat Bugi Prayogo, and Surateno, who presented material on Outcome Based Education (OBE), problem-based learning, project-based learning, and product-based learning.
The Vice Rector I for Academic and Student Affairs of UNIKOM, Prof. Dr. Hj. Umi Narimawati, Dra., S.E., M.Si., who was present on behalf of the Rector of UNIKOM, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Soeryanto Soegoto, M.T., also gave a speech. “UNIKOM is once again the venue for this BIMTEK activity. For a long time, UNIKOM has been part of the Belmawa collaborative team, and through this opportunity, we are working together to deliver programs that have a real impact. To that end, Belmawa invited vocational education institutions, both D3 and D4 programs. This time, 68 universities participated in the event.” Furthermore, Prof. Umi hoped that all participants would develop and design their respective curricula in line with what they learned during the event. “From the RPS to the courses, everything is expected to lead to the development of a vocational curriculum that is in line with Permen Number 39,” she said.
The event was officially opened by the Director of Belmawa, Dr. Beny Bandanadjaja, S.T., M.T., who attended virtually. The presence of these leaders signifies a strong commitment to promoting an adaptive vocational curriculum that is relevant to the needs of industry, business, and the world of work (DUDIKA).
The person in charge of Curriculum and Learning Outcomes at the Directorate of Belmawa, Nur Masyitah Syam, S.E., stated, “I hope that through this technical guidance activity, vocational education graduates will not only be ready to work but also ready to become entrepreneurs. This must begin with the development of a curriculum that is in line and matches the needs of DUDIKA,” she said.
In addition to the presentation of materials, participants also took part in interactive discussion sessions, the preparation of Semester Learning Plans (RPS), and learning evaluations using a link and match approach. Through pre-test and post-test methods, participants’ understanding was measured to ensure that the results of the Bimtek could be effectively implemented in their respective institutions.
Closing the event, the speakers delivered a summary as a reflection on the training series. This activity emphasized that vocational education is not just about theory but must also build practical skills integrated with the real needs of the industrial world. Through this training, UNIKOM actively supports Belmawa in producing a superior, competent vocational generation ready to face future challenges (Directorate of Hms & Pro).
