BANDUNG, UNIKOM – On Friday, September 26, 2025, the Architecture Engineering Study Program at the Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM) conducted a field assessment and accreditation evaluation by the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) within the UNIKOM Faculty of Engineering as a commitment to improve the quality of higher education.
The field assessment is an important part of the academic quality assurance process, aiming to ensure that the education provided by the Architecture Engineering Study Program complies with the National Higher Education Standards (SN-Dikti) and meets the indicators of quality, relevance, and sustainable academic governance.
This field assessment was attended by the Vice Rector III for Research, Innovation, and Accreditation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Herman Soegoto, MBA, and the Head of the Architecture Engineering Study Program, Prof. Dr. Ir. Dhini Dewiyanti, M.T., and lecturers from the Architecture Engineering, including Dr. Salmon Priaji Martana, S.T., M.T.; Tri Widianti Natalia, S.T., M.T., and Nova Chandra Aditya, S.T., M.T. Meanwhile, BAN-PT assigned two experienced assessors, Dr. Eng. Ir. Ahmad Sarwadi, M.Eng., as Assessor 1, and Dr. Ir. V.G. Sri Rejeki, M.T., as Assessor 2, who verified, clarified, and assessed the documents and implementation of the study program curriculum.
This activity began with a meeting between the Rector of UNIKOM, Prof. Dr. Ir. H. Eddy Soeryanto Soegoto, M.T., along with the university leadership and the two BAN-PT assessors, which took place in the Rector’s Room, 15th Floor, Smart Building. The activity continued with discussions and reviews of documents, gathering information related to academic quality assurance, field observations, and reviews of the New Student Admission (PMB) process and learning support facilities in the Meeting Room, 7th Floor of the UNIKOM Smart Building.
Vice Rector III Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Herman Soegoto, MBA., in his speech said, “On behalf of the university and faculty, we would like to welcome the BAN-PT assessor team to the UNIKOM Campus. Hopefully, this field assessment activity can run smoothly and produce the best results. We also would like to appreciate the entire team for their hard work in preparing comprehensive documents and supporting evidence. This activity is an important moment for us to continue strengthening the culture of quality and academic governance at UNIKOM,” he said.
Furthermore, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Herman emphasized that UNIKOM remains committed to strengthen its quality-based and innovation-based accreditation system. Through this implementation of the field assessment, the Architecture Engineering Study Program has demonstrated its commitment in maintaining and improving academic quality. The evaluation is expected to strengthen UNIKOM’s reputation as a university that inspires innovation and sustainable design in the field of architecture.
The accreditation process also serves as UNIKOM’s commitment to evolving into a Digital Entrepreneurial University that excels not only in technology but also in reinforcing humanistic values, aesthetics, and environmental sustainability within architectural education. (Directorate of Hms & Pro)
