BANDUNG, UNIKOM — On Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Universitas Komputer Indonesia (UNIKOM), held a Hands-on Canva Artificial Intelligence (AI) session themed on layout and visual display. Held in Room 4306 of Campus I UNIKOM, the activity was part of strengthening the FEB UNIKOM AI Curriculum, which focuses on improving artificial intelligence literacy and digital visual skills in the academic environment.
The hands-on session was attended by lecturers teaching AI-related subjects and structural staff within the faculty. Through a hands-on approach, the activity was designed to support learning, academic communication, and the development of educational content that is more effective, creative, and relevant to student needs.
The Head of the Marketing Management and Finance and Banking Study Programs, Dr. Rizki Zulfikar, S.E., M.Si., representing FEB UNIKOM, emphasized the importance of adapting AI-based technology in the academic environment so that lecturers and study program administrators can produce teaching materials that are more engaging, contextual, and have a tangible impact on the learning process of students.
The activity continued with a presentation from the guest speaker, a lecturer from the Faculty of Design, Dr. Yully Ambarsih Ekawardhani, S.Sn., M.Sn., who explained the use of AI-based Canva features to speed up the design process, maintain visual consistency, and improve the quality of message delivery. During the event, participants were also equipped with practical strategies for applying layout principles, strengthening visual messages, and optimizing AI to produce communicative and professional designs, such as lecture presentations, learning media, and AI curriculum support materials.
Through the implementation of this hands-on session, FEB UNIKOM reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening the competencies of lecturers and study program administrators, ensuring that the use of AI is not limited to tool usage but is integrated into innovative, effective learning practices aligned with the development of the FEB UNIKOM AI Curriculum.
